Abstract

ARTIGOS ABSORVENTES COMPREENDENDO MATERIAIS ABSORVENTES EXIBINDO DESINTUMESCIMENTO/REINTUMESCIMENTO. A presente invenção se refere a artigos absorventes que incluem composições absorventes, as quais exibem comportamento de intumescimento, de desintumescimento e de reintumescimento. Mais especificamente, as composições absorventes desta invenção se intumescem e absorvem fluidos depois de exposição a fluidos aquosos, se desintumescem e liberam fluidos das composições absorventes intumescidas, e também podem se reintumescer e absorver fluidos. O comportamento de intumescimento-desintumescimento-reintumescimento permite distribuição de líquidos intensificada em compósitos absorventes e artigos absorventes.
