Abstract

processo para preparar xaropes de poliéster de peso molecular alto, xarope de poliéster, e, produto de poliéster acondicionado polímeros de poliéster de pesos moleculares médio e alto são preparados em forma de xarope a partir de um oligômero de éster. o oligômero é convertido ao polímero por policondensação em pressão elevada em um veículo não reativo capaz de formar um azeótropo com água. as reações de oligomerização ou policondensação de éster desejavelmente são monitoradas usando uma técnica não-viscosimétrica. o processo tem um tempo de ciclo rápido. o xarope contém o polímero e o veículo não reativo, e pode ser mais convenientemente usado para preparar produtos inicialmente não-sólidos tais como revestimentos de poliéster do que é o caso quando se utilizam resinas de poliéster sólidas pelotizadas.
