Abstract

Le procédé d'imprégnation d'une nappe fibreuse, tissée, tricotée ou non-tissée, avec un liquide aqueux notamment du type contenant un agent de traitement est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à: (i) déposer la nappe (6) sur une toile sans fin (4) perméable aux liquides, (ii) déverser le liquide par gravité sur la nappe sous la forme d'un rideau, ou lame, liquide transversal au sens de déplacement de celle-ci, (iii) créer au moyen d'une fente à vide (13) disposée sous la toile une dépression suffisante pour qu'au moins une partie dudit liquide traverse la nappe, le taux de liquide déversé, défini par rapport au poids de la nappe défilant sous ladite lame, étant supérieur à une valeur déterminée à partir de laquelle le taux d'emport est fonction de ladite dépression et indépendant de la quantité déversée, de façon à permettre une imprégnation homogéne et un contrôle aisé du taux d'emport.
