Abstract

La présente invention vise à empêcher un état d'inactivation du jet d'encre, lequel est induit lorsque les gouttelettes d'encre adhérant à la surface d'orifice du jet d'une tête à jet d'encre atteignent l'orifice du jet, et est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comporte une région hydrofuge à proximité de l'orifice du jet, disposée sur la surface dudit orifice, et une région hydrophile en forme de rainure à l'intérieur d'une région espacée d'une distance prédéterminée de l'orifice du jet et adjacente à la région hydrofuge. Etant donné la disposition de la région hydrophile, les gouttelettes d'encre adhérant à la surface de l'orifice du jet peuvent être absorbées dans la région hydrophile. En conséquence, on peut obtenir un excellent enregistrement, même dans des conditions d'enregistrement à haute vitesse et d'excitation à haute fréquence.
