Abstract

L'appareil de commande de poursuite (20) pour une antenne mobile recevant les émissions des satellites installée sur une unité mobile détecte le niveau d'une onde radio reçue par l'antenne (AT) et fait tourner à maintes reprises l'antenne sur un angle donné, en fonction du niveau du signal reçu détecté, avec une vitesse de rotation qui augmente proportionnellement à l'accroissement de l'incrément du niveau du signal reçu par unité d'angle associé avec la rotation précédente, afin de commander l'angle de rotation de l'antenne (100). Au cours d'une période pendant laquelle le niveau du signal reçu dépasse un seuil, l'angle de rotation de l'antenne est maintenu à la valeur courante et le niveau du signal reçu est contrôlé (200). Lorsque le niveau du signal reçu devient inférieur au seuil, la vitesse angulaire de l'unité mobile et sa valeur intégrée sont détectées (7, 8) et, si l'une ou l'autre des valeurs est significative, on considère que l'erreur angulaire lors de l'opération de rotation de l'unité mobile a augmenté, et l'angle de rotation (100) de l'antenne est modifié. Si les deux valeurs ne sont pas significatives, on considère que l'augmentation de l'erreur angulaire a été provoquée par l'interposition soudaine d'un obstacle, et l'appareil de commande attend que le niveau du signal reçu se rétablisse à une valeur correcte (300).
