Abstract

Une installation, qui permet de stocker des données utilisées pour afficher des diagrammes, comprend un ordinateur et un serveur de dossiers. Chaque diagramme comporte des cases reliées par des lignes de liaison. Le logiciel inclut une base de données et un prgramme principal chargé de stocker et retrouver des données de diagramme ainsi que d'effectuer des opérations déterminées sur ces données. Dans la base de données, celles décrivant une case sont stockées comme exemple de première classe d'objets de logiciel, celles décrivant une ligne de liaison le sont comme exemple de deuxième classe d'objets de logiciel, les données générales relatives à un diagramme le sont comme exemple d'une troisième classe d'objets de logiciel, et celle décrivant l'emplacement de chaque entité (case ou ligne de liaison) sur un diagramme le sont comme exemple d'une quatrième classe d'objets de logiciel. Chaque exemple de cette quatrième classe comporte un repère, pointant vers l'exemple de la troisième classe d'objets de logiciel qui contient les données générales du diagramme, ainsi qu'un repère pointant vers l'exemple de la première et de la deuxième classe d'objets de logiciel qui décrivent une entité.
