Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de produire des polyaspartates réticulés, solubles, de masse moléculaire élevée, à partir d'un polysuccinimide réticulé. Selon un procédé préféré, on fait d'abord réagir le polysuccinimide avec un agent de réticulation organique, de préférence une base organique contenant au moins deux groupes amines primaires, pour obtenir un polysuccinimide réticulé. On soumet ensuite le polysuccinimide réticulé à une hydrolyse pour obtenir un polyaspartate réticulé soluble dans des solvants polaires, de préférence l'eau, l'alcool et des mélanges de ceux-ci. L'invention concerne d'autres procédés, procédés selon lesquels on produit des polyaspartates réticulés solubles dans un seul récipient de réaction, en procédant séquentiellement à la réticulation du polysuccinimide avec l'agent de réticulation organique, dans un mélange de réaction aqueux, et à l'hydrolyse du polysuccinimide réticulé, cette hydrolyse donnant un polyaspartate réticulé.
