Abstract
Cette invention concerne un tuyau respiratoire 50 pour appareils de plongée sous-marine, dont la paroi 51, vue en coupe dans le sens longitudinal suivant la ligne 50a, est constituée de sections épaisses 52 alternant avec des sections minces 53. Les sections épaisses 52 présentent une surface interne plate et une surface externe protubérante, alors que les sections minces présentent une surface interne légèrement bombée. La surface interne sur la ligne 51a est à peu près plate, de sorte qu'elle ne pose pas de problèmes d'hygiène particuliers, contrairement aux tuyaux en accordéon, dont les replis peuvent servir de logement aux impuretés propices à la prolifération de bactéries. De plus, grâce aux sections minces, le tuyau de cette invention possède la flexibilité et les autres qualités requises d'un tuyau respiratoire.
