Abstract
Bobines plates doubles qui comportent une paire de bobines plates de dimensions différentes, et sont enroulées à partir de la même longueur continue de fil supraconducteur. Lesdites bobines plates doubles sont placées de manière coaxiale et électriquement interconnectées le long d'un axe longitudinal pour fournir un ensemble bobines magnétiques supraconductrices à bobines multiples. Au moins l'une des bobines plates de chacune des bobines plates doubles est électriquement connectée à au moins une autre bobine plate d'une bobine plate double adjacente ayant pratiquement la même dimension externe. Les connexions électriques entre des bobines plates adjacentes sont fournies par des segments relativement droits ou "non pliés" (81) de fil supraconducteur, même si les dimensions du profil interne et/ou externe de l'ensemble bobines magnétiques supraconductrices varient le long de l'axe longitudinal.
