Abstract

Un distributeur (1) amène des feuilles à revêtir d'une substance de revêtement à base d'eau, un apprêt et une colle à faible adhérence par exemple, ces feuilles se chevauchant bout-à-bout, à une machine à enduire recto verso (3) dans laquelle les feuilles sont pourvues, individuellement et sur leurs deux faces, d'un revêtement. L'appareil comporte, en amont du distributeur, un introducteur de feuilles (2) destiné à introduire des feuilles en provenance d'un second dispositif d'approvisionnement auprès des feuilles provenant du distributeur (1). Les feuilles couchées recto verso sont mises à sécher, individuellement ou sous la forme d'une pseudo-bande constituée de feuilles se chevauchant. On les fait ensuite se chevaucher, à moins que ceci n'ait déjà été fait, et l'on change, si nécessaire, le sens de chevauchement afin de placer le bord arrière de chaque feuille sur le dessus du bord avant de chaque feuille suivante. On fait traverser aux feuilles se chevauchant un poste de transfert d'adhésif (7) dans lequel des bandes (236) d'un adhésif séché, du moins partiellement, provenant d'une courroie de transfert (71), sont apposées sur les deux feuilles pourvues de revêtement.
