Abstract

Un étudiant utilisateur d'un ordinateur client fait appel à un processus d'apprentissage pour développer ses aptitudes cognitives et un superviseur utilise un second ordinateur client pour surveiller à distance les progrès de l'étudiant. Le processus d'apprentissage présente différents types de stimuli à l'étudiant et enregistre les réponses de l'étudiant associées aux stimuli. En outre, le processus d'apprentissage forme des données d'évaluation à partir des réponses de l'étudiant, lesdites données d'évaluation représentant une corrélation entre les réponses de l'étudiant associées aux stimuli respectifs et des données de réponses correctes préétablies associées aux stimuli respectifs. En outre, le processus d'apprentissage modifie son propre comportement en fonction des données d'évaluation de manière à personnaliser le comportement du processus d'apprentissage aux aptitudes cognitives de l'étudiant. Les réponses de l'étudiant sont téléchargées dans une base de données globale des étudiants à laquelle peut accéder un superviseur. Le superviseur interroge cette base de données globale pour en extraire des réponses de l'étudiant qu'il analyse. Le superviseur peut utiliser ultérieurement cette analyse aux fins d'une consultation directe avec l'étudiant ou peut conseiller des changements de comportement du processus d'apprentissage dans le but de développer plus efficacement les aptitudes cognitives de l'étudiant.
