Abstract

L'invention concerne des articles de sécurité tels que des cartes de garantie de chèque, des cartes d'identification, et similaires, par exemple du papier de sécurité, notamment des billets de banque, des chèques, et similaires. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ces articles de sécurité, ainsi qu'un procédé de vérification de l'authenticité d'un tel article. Cette invention concerne un article de sécurité présentant une première et une seconde surfaces, ainsi qu'un fil de sécurité dont la première partie est placée entre lesdites première et seconde surfaces, et la seconde partie exposée par une fenêtre ménagée sur ladite première surface. Ce fil de sécurité comprend en outre des organes constituant au moins une caractéristique de sécurité non publique, permettant de vérifier l'authenticité de l'article, cette caractéristique n'étant pas visuellement détectable lorsque ledit fil de sécurité est exposé uniquement à un rayonnement électromagnétique dans le domaine du visible. L'exposition de la seconde partie de ce fil de sécurité par la fenêtre de la première surface permet de détecter plus facilement ladite caractéristique de sécurité non publique, grâce à une partie rapidement accessible de ce fil de sécurité, cette partie exposée par ladite fenêtre de la première surface ayant une apparence matte et non réfléchissante, proche de la couleur d'une partie de cette première surface, qui entoure ladite fenêtre. Lorsque l'on observe cette première surface sous une lumière réfléchie dans le domaine du visible, la partie exposée dudit fil de sécurité passe inaperçue, et ne constitue pas une caractéristique visuellement frappante dudit article de sécurité sous une lumière réfléchie dans le domaine du visible.
