Abstract

L'invention concerne des agents antibactériens du type carbapenem, dans lesquels le noyau carbapenem est substitué en position 2 avec un phényle iodo substitué, lié par un groupe CH¿2?-O. Les composés de l'invention sont représentés par la formule (I). L'invention porte aussi sur les sels et les hydrates desdits agents. De plus, le cycle phényle iodo est substitué par différents groupes de substituants dont au moins un groupe cationique. Des compositions pharmaceutiques et des procédés de traitement sont également décrits.
