Abstract
L'invention concerne un système indicateur de mise au point pour une caméra(20) cinématographique. Cet indicateur comprend deux caméras (38) vidéo montées de chaque côté de la caméra (20) cinématographique. Les images produites par les caméras (38) vidéo sont superposées sur l'écran d'un moniteur (42). Les caméras (38) vidéo sont pivotantes et tournent en réponse à des modifications du réglage de l'objectif (26) de la caméra (20). Un transducteur (52) détecte les mouvements de l'anneau (28) réglant la mise au point de l'objectif. Un circuit de commande surveille la sortie (152) du transducteur (52) et actionne des servomoteurs (55) qui font pivoter les caméras vidéo dans des directions opposées. Les axes (43) optiques des caméras (38) vidéo se croisent dans le plan sur lequel l'objectif (26) est réglé. La personne agissant comme premier assistant-opérateur peut déterminer à quel moment le réglage de la caméra (20) est au point en observant le moniteur (42). Lorsqu'un objet visé est net, les images superposées des caméra vidéos coïncident. Lorsque l'objet n'est pas net, les images superposées sont séparées. L'indicateur de mise au point aide la personne chargée de la mise au point de la caméra (20) à régler de manière rapide et précise la netteté d'objets se trouvant dans le champ de vision de la caméra. Ce système permet de réduire le nombre de nouvelles prises dues à une mise au point imprécise et rend le réglage plus rapide. Les coûts de production s'en trouvent réduits.
