Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour produire de l'air purifié ou enrichi en ozone. Ce procédé consiste à exposer un courant d'air provenant d'une zone environnante aux rayonnements ultraviolets pour générer de l'ozone dans une chambre d'ozone du système. La chambre d'ozone est configurée pour réduire la vitesse de l'air et pour laisser du temps pour que l'ozone se mélange à l'air et oxyde les contaminants. Le courant d'air pénètre ensuite dans une chambre germicide et est exposé aux rayonnements ultraviolets à une longueur d'onde différente pour détruire les bactéries et l'ozone dans le courant d'air, ce qui permet d'obtenir de l'air stérilisé. Le système peut comprendre diverses configurations de chambre germicide et d'ozone pour augmenter le temps de séjour dans ces chambres, augmenter la production d'ozone ou les concentrations d'ozone de commande. En outre, ce système peut être configuré pour être installé dans une paroi ou un plafond, ou pour être fixé sur un ventilateur au plafond. De plus, ce système peut comprendre un filtre pour retirer les matières particulaires d'un courant d'air, et peut être utilisé dans divers dispositifs, ou en association avec ces derniers, tels que des dispositifs d'ouverture de porte de garage, des unités de traitement thermique d'air, des systèmes ou des conduites de ventilations, des caisses pour excréments d'animaux, etc.. pour retirer les contaminants d'un courant d'air au voisinage de ces dispositifs. En outre, le système peut être utilisé pour retirer les contaminants d'objets ou pour produire de l'air purifié et/ou enrichi en ozone pour être appliqué sur des blessures ou pour traiter certaines conditions de la peau ou diverses parties de l'anatomie humaine.
