Abstract
L'invention concerne un système émissif de présentation d'images visuelles. Le système émissif contient généralement des premières (90) électrodes déposées sur un substrat avec lequel elles sont en contact. Une ou plusieurs couches (40) tampons organiques conjuguées sont ensuite déposées sur les premières électrodes avec lesquelles elles sont en contact, et des deuxièmes (22) électrodes sont par la suite déposées sur les couches tampons organiques conjuguées. Les couches (40) tampons organiques conjuguées régulent un flux de courant entre les premières (90) électrodes et les deuxièmes (22) électrodes. Avant ou après le dépôt de chaque couche (40) tampon organique conjuguée, mais avant le dépôt des deuxièmes (22) électrodes, des dépôts (34, 36, 38) organiques conjugués sont imprimés par jet d'encre de sorte qu'ils soient en contact avec au moins une couche tampon organique conjuguée. Les dépôts (34, 36, 38) organiques conjugués favorisent la génération d'un indicateur lorsqu'une excitation de tension est appliquée à travers les premières (90) électrodes et les deuxièmes (22) électrodes. En fonction de la matière des dépôts (34, 36, 38) organiques conjugués, l'indicateur peut être à luminescence, à fluorescence, à conductivité ou analogue. On utilise une source de tension pour appliquer sélectivement l'excitation de tension à travers les premières (90) électrodes et les deuxièmes (22) électrodes.
