Abstract

L'invention concerne un rouleau pour une machine à papier ou à carton comprenant des tourillons d'axe sur lesquels le rouleau est disposé pour tourner, des rebords d'extrémité auxquels les tourillons sont reliés et un manchon qui est relié aux rebords d'extrémité. Le manchon présente un certain nombre d'ouvertures traversant le manchon et/ou les évidements (15) pratiqué(e)s dans la surface extérieure du manchon, les ouvertures et/ou les évidements formant un motif régulier. Des parties d'accouplement pleines placées dans la surface extérieure du manchon autour de ces ouvertures et/ou évidements (15) sont ouvertes de manière à créer une connexion à partir de chaque ouverture et/ou évidement (15) sous forme d'une rainure ou d'évidement supplémentaire (16, 17) s'étendant dans la surface extérieure du manchon de rouleau, la connexion se faisant au moins avec les ouvertures et/ou évidements (15) mutuellement les plus proches.
