Abstract

Le premier objet de l'invention est une cuve d'électrolyse (1) pour la production d'aluminium par le procédé d'électrolyse Hall-Héroult comprenant des moyens de refroidissement par soufflage d'air à jets localisés (27), et avantageusement à débit variable, qui permettent d'évacuer et de dissiper l'énergie thermique de la cuve. Le deuxième objet de l'invention est une usine de production d'aluminium par le procédé d'électrolyse Hall-Héroult caractérisé en ce que certaines cuves, ou l'ensemble de celles-ci, comprennent, individuellement ou en commun, des moyens de refroidissement selon l'invention.
