Abstract

Ce dispositif de surveillance de l'activité d'un animal comprend des moyens de détection (2, 4, 5) servant à détecter au moins un état de mouvement de l'animal, ainsi que des moyens de transmission (3, 7, 9), lesquels servent à transmettre cette information à un poste d'évaluation (21) et sont reliés de manière fonctionnelle aux moyens de détection. Selon l'invention, les moyens de détection comprennent au moins un dispositif de mesure d'intensité (4), dont les signaux de sortie représentent les mouvements de l'animal en termes d'amplitude, d'états transitoires et/ou de temps de montée, et ils sont fournis au poste d'évaluation (21), lequel comprend un processeur (25) servant à déterminer plusieurs états de l'animal.
