Abstract
L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de produire des polypeptides étrangers dans une plante hôte en utilisant des virus de recombinaison par le biais de systèmes de complémentation fonctionnelle. On construit pour cela des vecteurs viraux de recombinaison appropriés, capables d'engendrer une infection systémique et d'infecter les plantes hôtes par le biais d'un ou plusieurs vecteurs viraux de recombinaison. Par ailleurs, on infecte une plante hôte qui est transgénique pour l'expression des gènes de réplicase de virus, moyennant quoi la plante transgénique exprimant les gènes en question assure la complémentation de la fonction de réplicase de virus. L'invention concerne en outre des compositions renfermant des vecteurs viraux de recombinaison capables d'engendrer une infection systémique, pour la production de polypeptides étrangers dans une plante hôte.
