Abstract
Un ensemble d'appui et d'étanchéité pour supporter et sceller des parties d'extrémité d'un arbre rotatif à aubes dans les parois d'extrémité d'un malaxeur à mortier ou d'un appareil semblable. Chaque ensemble d'appui et d'étanchéité comprend un appui et un logement d'étanchéité fixés de manière amovible à une paroi d'extrémité du tambour malaxeur par des boulons pour faciliter le remplacement des appuis et des étanchéités lorsque cela devient nécessaire pendant l'utilisation. La paroi extérieure du boîtier comprend un anneau ou un épaulement périphérique pour un engagement avec un extracteur d'appui classique pour faciliter l'enlèvement du logement, des appuis et des étanchéités en une seule unité. Les unités de boîtier, d'appui et d'étanchéité préassemblées peuvent alors être utilisées comme pièces de rechange. Les appuis et les étanchéités sont également espacés longitudinalement pour fournir un espace pour les matériaux abrasifs qui peuvent migrer au-delà des étanchéités afin de prolonger l'espérance de vie des appuis en diminuant l'exposition à la contamination. Le boîtier comprend également une ouverture dans la partie inférieure de celui-ci communiquant avec l'espace entre les appuis et les étanchéités pour permettre au matériau qui migre au-delà des étanchéités de tomber à travers l'ouverture sur le sol, protégeant de ce fait les appuis de la contamination et indiquant à l'opérateur de malaxeur que les étanchéités sont usées ou sont défaillantes de telle sorte qu'il puisse en effectuer l'entretien ou le remplacement rapide.
