Abstract

La présente invention concerne une poutre de construction (100) comprenant une paire d'éléments (102, 104) latéraux et une armature (106) souple s'étendant entre eux, de manière à présenter un profil en coupe correspondant aux éléments de poutres de constructions fréquemment utilisés (par exemple, 2" x 4" ou 2" x 6" (5,08 cm x 10,16 cm or 5,08 cm x 15,24)). La souplesse de l'armature permet de réduire la transmission de son à travers la poutre d'un élément latéral à un autre. En particulier, dans un cadre mural, les éléments latéraux sont montés à des extrémités opposées de celui-ci sur des plaques d'extrémité composées d'autres poutres de construction correspondant à cette invention (c'est à dire, une paire d'éléments latéraux avec une armature souple s'étendant entre eux). Lorsque le cadre mural est utilisé dans une structure de construction, les éléments latéraux des plaques d'extrémité sur la même face sont fixés à la structure périphérique, laissant ainsi l'autre face du cadre flottant librement de façon souple. Un mur est monté sur le côté flottant librement du cadre mural afin de former un mur flottant librement de façon souple agissant comme un absorbeur "diaphragmatique" d'atténuation du son. De préférence (mais pas nécessairement) l'armature comprend des écarteurs (410), de sorte que les éléments latéraux puissent être facilement orientés par rapport à l'armature et l'un par rapport à l'autre, afin de s'ajuster automatiquement. Par commodité, les écarteurs peuvent être formés en coupant et en pliant des pattes dans le matériau de l'armature dans des endroits voulus.
