Abstract
L'invention concerne une mèche, en particulier une mèche Forstner ou à pointe de centrage, qui comprend une tige de mèche (2) et une tête de coupe (4), laquelle présente une pointe (1) centrale à partir de laquelle une première et une seconde partie faciale de coupe (100, 100') s'étendent radialement, dans des sens d'entrée en contact opposés, vers l'extérieur. Sur les extrémités situées côté périphérie de la première et de la seconde partie faciale de coupe (100, 100') se trouve, respectivement, de façon adjacente, une paroi (10) du type segment de cylindre creux, qui comporte une partie de coupe périphérique (8) et délimite la périphérie de la tête de coupe (4). Cette paroi délimite, à son extrémité éloignée des parties faciales de coupe (100, 100') un espace à copeaux (7) qui s'ouvre respectivement sur l'autre partie faciale de coupe et qui traverse la tête de mèche, les deux parties de coupe périphériques (8) présentant, au moins partiellement, le long de leur tracé, des creux (13) et des élévations (14) formant des ondulations.
