Abstract

Procédé et appareil permettant de transformer un tube brut (40) en pièce formée. La pièce peut être configurée à l'intérieur d'un ensemble matrice constitué d'une structure de matrice d'hydroformage (12, 14) et de deux poinçons (81) venant en contact avec le tube. Les poinçons sont insérés dans les extrémités du tube brut pour former lesdites extrémités en la configuration souhaitée. La partie centrale du tube brut est formée selon la configuration souhaitée par hydroformage. Le procédé et l'appareil permettent ainsi de former le tube brut sur toute sa longueur, de sorte qu'il ne reste plus aucune partie du tube brut à ébarber.
