Abstract

La présente invention concerne des séquences d'acide nucléiques isolées et des polypeptides codés par ces dernières qui produisent de l'épothilone B hydroxylase ainsi que des mutants et des variants de cette dernière et une ferrédoxine située en aval du gène d'épothilone B hydroxylase. Cette invention concerne également des vecteurs et des cellules contenant ces vecteurs; des méthodes de production de micro-organismes de recombinaison, des méthodes d'utilisation de ces micro-organismes de recombinaison pour produire des épothilones porteuses d'un groupe hydroxyalkyle et un analogue d'épothilone produit par un mutant de l'épothilone B hydroxylase.
