Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un (co)polymère de polysiloxane à indice de réfraction élevé qui comprend des groupes modifiant l'indice de réfraction et qui sont liés chimiquement en une configuration en grappes au squelette de polysiloxane. L'invention porte également sur des procédés de préparation de ces (co)polymères de polysiloxane à indice de réfraction élevé. Le polysiloxane de cette invention est tout à fait approprié pour être utilisé comme matériau dans la production de lentilles intraoculaires.
