Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système afficheur d'image qui permet à des utilisateurs de naviguer dans de très grandes images numériques rapidement et en continu. Ce système est optimisé pour transmettre des données image d'un lecteur de disque à un afficheur à hauts débits de données. Les données image sont stockées sur un lecteur de disque dans un format de fichier optimisé en vue d'une localisation, d'un affichage et d'une navigation en continu à vitesse élevée. Ce système afficheur d'image peut être monté en cascade de manière à montrer au moins deux images contiguës sur des afficheurs multiples.
