Abstract

Un outil à coupelle pour une utilisation avec un mandrin à haute pression d'un outil d'isolement de tête de puits comportant un ensemble en trois parties d'étanchéification à l'aide d'un packer qui glisse sur un dispositif d'étanchéité d'un tube d'outil à coupelle entre une position non définie et une position définie. L'ensemble en trois parties d'étanchéification à l'aide d'un packer comprend une tasse élastomère, une bague d'alignement rigide située au-dessus de la tasse élastomère et un élément d'étanchéification à l'aide d'un packer élastomère situé au-dessus de la bague d'alignement rigide. La bague d'alignement rigide permet de s'assurer que la coupelle élastomère reste correctement aligné dans un boîtier ou un tube qui n'est pas droit, est ovalisé ou est lavé, et permet de s'assurer que le dispositif d'étanchéité élastomère réalise un joint à haute pression dans la position définie, même dans des conditions de fond de trou indésirables.
