Abstract
L'invention porte sur l'intégration des gènes dans le méthylobacterium, tel que M. extorquens ATCC 55366, au moyen d'un système de transposons, de préférence le système de transposons mini-Tn7, et sous le contrôle d'un promoteur, comme le puissant promoteur de méthanol déshydrogénase (P mxaF). Une intégration à copies multiples de gènes est également décrite. Le site de fixation unique et spécifique pour le site de fixation Tn7 (attTn7) est déterminé pour M. extorquens.
