Abstract

Un dispositif de rampe de guidage servant au forage directionnel comprend avantageusement un mécanisme de verrouillage libérable servant à libérer l'outil d'orientation directionnel de l'engagement avec la rampe de guidage externe dans les situations où le trépan pourrait se coincer. Dans une réalisation préférée, la tige comporte un mécanisme de détente et est inclinée par un ressort, et dépend de la pression de la boue de forage pour rester en engagement de verrouillage. La tige peut être dégagée lorsque la pression de la boue de forage cesse et qu'une force de séparation positive est exercée entre l'outil de mesure directionnel et un élément d'outil interne associé, et l'élément de rampe de guidage externe.
