Abstract

Une méthode de traitement de larsenic qui comprend un procédé de grillage dans lequel du minerai de cuivre contenant de larsenic est grillé dans une atmosphère de gaz inerte pour séparer la chalcopyrite dune matière volatile contenant des sulfures darsenic. La méthode comprend également un procédé de traitement thermique dans lequel du soufre et un antioxydant sont ajoutés à la matière volatile obtenue dans le procédé de grillage suivi par un traitement thermique dans latmosphère de gaz inerte pour dissoudre les sulfures darsenic dans la matière volatile.
