Le vêtement peut être porté tout seul, ou conjointement avec dautres vêtements thermiques ou imperméables pour animaux. La participation des humains permet dattacher le vêtement à lanimal, le vêtement, passant autour de son cou et de son corps, selon un moyen ajustable et libérable.
