Abstract

Il est décrit une gaine structurelle servant à renforcer des tuyaux deau souterrains existant pour quils puissent résister aux tremblements de terre et aux glissements de terrain. La conception de la gaine permet de lintroduire dans des tuyaux deau souterrains sans quil soit nécessaire de les déterrer. Lappareil de renforcement structurel consiste en une gaine tubulaire tissée sans soudure imprégnée dune résine durcissante, laquelle gaine est conçue pour sintroduire dans un circuit de tuyaux deau souterrains sans avoir recours au déterrement. La gaine tubulaire tissée sans soudure se compose de fil de chaîne de fibres longitudinal continu qui fournit une résistance à la traction sur laxe longitudinal de la gaine tubulaire tissée et de fil de trame de fibres circonférentiel qui fournit une résistance à la traction autour de la paroi de la gaine tubulaire tissée.
