Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'extraction de carapace de crabe permettant un retrait aisé des branchies et, plus particulièrement, un appareil d'extraction de carapace de crabe permettant un retrait aisé des branchies qui réduit le temps de travail manuel requis pour retirer les branchies, et réduit le taux d'échec de l'opération et la perte de chair de crabe résultant de l'opération par un retrait rapide et aisé des branchies par l'intermédiaire d'une pulvérisation d'eau haute pression sur un crabe dont la coquille avant et la carapace ont été retirées. À cet effet, la présente invention comprend : un dispositif de transport destiné à transporter un crabe dans un état dans lequel la carapace est orientée vers le bas; une unité d'extraction de carapace pour retirer la carapace du crabe transporté sur le dispositif de transport; et une unité de pulvérisation, située sur les deux côtés de l'arrière de l'unité d'extraction de carapace, pour pulvériser de l'eau à haute pression afin d'éliminer les branchies du crabe exposées par le retrait de la carapace.
