Abstract

La présente invention concerne une touffe pour un instrument d'hygiène buccale comprenant une pluralité de filaments. Chaque filament possède un axe longitudinal et une section transversale sensiblement en forme de croix s'étendant dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal. La section transversale en forme de croix présente quatre parties saillantes et quatre canaux, et les parties saillantes et les canaux sont placés de manière alternée. Chaque canal présente une courbure concave formée par des parties saillantes voisines et convergentes. La courbure concave possède un rayon, et le rayon de la courbure concave du canal est compris dans une plage d'environ 0,025 mm à environ 0,10 mm. La touffe présente un facteur de tassement compris dans une plage d'environ 40 % à environ 55 %.
