Abstract

L'invention concerne une pince de dimensionnement utilisée pour fixer un nerf en place, mesurer le diamètre du nerf et fournir un moyen efficace d'effectuer une résection du nerf. Une pince de dimensionnement peut comporter une mâchoire supérieure et une mâchoire inférieure dotées d'une ou plusieurs encoches alignées qui forment des ouvertures permettant de maintenir un nerf. Les ouvertures peuvent avoir des tailles prédéterminées qui peuvent être utilisées pour mesurer le diamètre d'un nerf. Une fente de tranchage dans les mâchoires supérieure et inférieure permet à un nerf à l'intérieur d'une ouverture d'être sectionné pour obtenir une extrémité non effilochée.
