Abstract

L'invention concerne des carburants marins ou des compositions de mélange de carburants, des procédés de fabrication de tels carburants ou compositions et des procédés de réduction potentielle de l'intensité de carbone du cycle de vie de carburants marins ou d'une composition de mélange de carburants. Le carburant marin ou la composition de mélange de carburants divulgué dans la description comprend au moins 20 % en volume d'une fraction contenant un résidu, et de 5 % en volume à 80 % en volume d'un ou plusieurs constituants de mélange de carburants renouvelables. Le ou les constituants de mélange de carburants renouvelables comprennent un ou plusieurs esters alkyliques d'acide gras. Éventuellement, le ou les constituants de mélange de carburants renouvelables peuvent comprendre des hydrocarbures gazeux à liquides provenant d'un gaz de synthèse renouvelable, de la graisse ou de l'huile naturelle hydrotraitée, de l'huile de cuisson usagée hydrotraitée, de l'huile de tallöl hydrotraitée, de l'huile de gaz de pyrolyse, ou des combinaisons de ces derniers.
