Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions de combustible marin ayant un comportement de cire acceptable. Dans un mode de réalisation, la composition de combustible marin a les propriétés énumérées suivantes : une viscosité cinématique à 50 °C d'environ 5 cSt à environ 700 cSt; une température finale de cire inférieure à environ 100 °C; et un rapport de viscosité cinématique à 100 °C à une viscosité de fonctionnement supérieure à 1, la viscosité de fonctionnement étant d'au moins environ 2 cSt. La composition de combustible marin existe dans une phase liquide avec essentiellement la totalité de la cire dans la composition fondue (essentiellement exempte de cire solide) avant l'injection du combustible dans un moteur marin.
