"Il est décrit une capsule (10) à usage unique permettant de préparer une boisson au moyen d'une machine de préparation de boissons, la capsule (10) à usage unique présentant un élément de base (12) doté d'une cavité destinée à recevoir une matière brute pour boisson et un opercule (33) fermant la cavité, l'élément de base (12) comportant une collerette (26) périphérique et une paroi de capsule (14) s'étendant d'une zone de fond (22) de la capsule (10) à usage unique jusqu'à la collerette (26), la collerette (26) périphérique s'étendant dans la direction radiale (R) par rapport à un axe longitudinal (L) de la capsule (10) à usage unique sur une largeur de collerette, l'opercule (33) étant fixé à la collerette (26), et la capsule (10) à usage unique présentant un code d'identification (34) détectable par voie optique, en particulier par un détecteur de la machine de préparation de boissons, ledit code d'identification étant agencé ou visible sur une face de la collerette (26) située à l'opposé de l'opercule (33) le long de l'axe longitudinal (L), et le code d'identification (34) ne s'étendant dans la direction radiale (R) que sur une zone partielle de la largeur de la collerette."
