Zugdecktingsanlage.

Zugdeckingsanlage. The invention relates to a train cover system for railways of the type in which there are track magnets in track sections, which are controlled by electromagnets, which are on track circles and which work together with magnetically operated valves attached to the train in such a way that the brakes are applied automatically when the train enters an already occupied section,
In previous systems of this type, the pulling mechanism comprises three or more magne tables. Actuated valves, each of which has its own special magnetic circuit, to which exciters belong that are suitable for crossing the field of the track magnets, as well as valves for connecting the draft air duct to the atmosphere and thus for applying the brakes.
According to the invention, only two magnets belong to the valve meelianism, which are positioned in such a way that each pole of one of them lies in the direction of travel behind the pole of the another. Each of these magnets is capable of a valve for the control This simplified design saves one or two magnets and valves, but allows the train to travel in one direction or the other, with the machine in front or behind and on the same track.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown on the drawing. Fig. 1 shows; schematiscb. the plan of a section of a railroad track with mutually adjoining blook lines, ei NEN line magnet and its actuation means, as well as the two regulating valve-e around the Venfilapparat which is carried by the vehicle and cooperates with the line magnet;
Fig. 2 is the associated side view; FIG. 3 shows a side view of part of a locomotive and the track, showing the mutual position of the apparatuses carried on the one hand by the motif and on the other hand quietly attached to the Ge; FIGS. 4, B > 5 and 6 show in plan and elevation details of the permanent line or track magnet and the electric control magnet, which is arranged next to it;
Fig. 7 is the floor plan of the valve apparatus with magnetic conductors; Fi-. 8 is a section along the line 9-9 # -on Fig. 7, Fig. Sa is a vertical section of a guide member for a valve and Fig 8b the associated floor plan: Firr. 9 is a section along the line 10-10 from FIG. 7.
The drawing shows a system with a fixed block or locking signal.
The system, as shown in FIG. 3, includes both the track apparatus and the pulling apparatus.
The track apparatus has a permanent magnet that is attached to the sleepers in the middle of the gelpis parallel to the rails. Below the poles of this permanent magnet, across them, there is an electric magnet, which, when erree, is stronger: it is as that.
The pulling device includes the -.nia-net-pnet-t- matic valve device F (FinG. 3), whose valves, when the closing device is stopped, are controlled by the permanent magnet located on the track, Furthermore, a pneumatic stop valve D for automatically applying the brakes and a valve E. This latter takes care of releasing the brakes and immediately returning the mechanism to normal operation ("after a the brakes have been applied automatically,
and is also used to switch off the automatic stopping of the train on the following machines of the same tD train. 10 are on sleepers 11 fixed railroad tracks, separated by insulation 123 , dividing the track in sections (block sections) A, B ete. divided.
In each block section, a polarized permanent section magnet 13 in the shape of a horseshoe and, somewhat lower down, an electric control magnet 14 are arranged a little below the rail top soap. The latter is stronger than the former and has a core 15 a coil 16 and pole pieces 17 and 18 which extend outwards and upwards so that they can interact with the opposite poles of the track magnet 13 in D .
To distinguish between their polarity, the pole pieces of the two magnets are labeled N and 8 in FIG. 5. The N- and S-poles of the electromagnet are on the S- resp. Pole of the permanent magnet. The electromagnet is attached to the permanent magnet to the two. to be kept in the second working position, and the whole thing is wired in a suitable manner.
The electromagnet is excited by a circuit of the signaling system, which is closed in a known manner by a train entering the block section when the block section is free.
The ma-net pneumatic valve apparatus F Tig located on the Zuze. 3) comprises two regulating valves Tf 'which are enclosed in a brass housing 22 which is suspended from a connecting plate 20. This depends. on rigid posts 21 which are attached to the middle lower S of the locomotive end.
The valve apparatus is held at a suitable distance above the track and extends (r -t parallel to the (-n rails.
The brass housing 22 has four outwardly extending eyes 23 through which bolts b go that the G housing hold on to the connecting plate 20.
The housing also carries the magnetically conductive slide P and has four connecting pieces 24 forming one piece with it, which are pierced in their longitudinal direction to accommodate a core o Jer Pol.stiicli:
e3 2 5 of high permeability. These cores or pole pieces - are at the ends with very screw threads 26. 27 vfr- see, of which the inner, 26, engages in one of the magnet pole pieces 28 , while the outer, 27, </ B> nuts 29 , which rest against the cast iron rails P.
These are also connected to the housing by cap screws 30 and locking washers 31 . The rails are designed to cut the field of the line magnets.
Each of the magnets M respectively. 311 'has two brackets (the number of brackets could also be smaller or larger than two), which are connected to one another by means of brackets 32 and by means of copying screws 33 on the pole pieces 28 are clamped. The poles of one magnet are reversed to those of the other, #d. i.e. if the magnet M has its south pole on the left (taken in the Falirric'hiung), the north pole is on the left of the magnet IN '.
These north and south poles of the same side are connected to each other by the pole pieces 25 and ... the exciter rails P, so that if one of these magnets becomes stronger than the other, the stronger one has the tendency, the weaker one so that the two magnets try to be equally strong. - Of course, these two magnets are exposed to magnetic impulses from the line magnets, which sometimes have a magnetizing and sometimes a demuging effect,
so that the magnets M, .31 'reinforcements and weakenings are subject.
Outside the connecting pieces 24, non-magnetic bushings 34 'are placed on the cores 25 in order to sufficiently reduce the magnetic force that flows from one magnet to the other. Inside the valve housing. each in the ends, are the two mae: net - pneumatic valves V ancebraclit. The structure of these two valves is the same.
The pole pieces 28 are wide and flat and have two places with notch thread to accommodate the head elbow 33 and the thread ends 26 < / B> of the cores 25. The latter are fixed in the connection 24 by means of adjusting screws 34 and counter nuts 35 .
The valves are made of bronze and their chambers and recesses inside are concentric to the valve shaft.
A valve stem sleeve 41 fits exactly into a recess on the upper side of a guide member 40. Two round recesses 51, into which pole piece dowels 42 are fitted, are embedded diametrically opposite one another in the upper surface of the latter. A small brass guide pin 43 is attached in the middle of one of these two pole piece dowels and extends upwards from here to serve as a guide for the armature 45 which rests on the upper end faces of the pole piece dowels 42.
These form contact points for holding back the armature 4-5 that actuates the valve in its normal closed position under the action of the magnet.
The armature 45 has near one of its ends a small hole 44 through which the pin 43 goes, so easily that the armature can move freely in the vertical direction Rich. The pin 43 also serves to prevent the armature from rotating on the valve stem and away from the dowels 42. One of the ends of the bronze valve shaft is thinner than the other. The thinner one has thread 47 for the purpose of receiving a wing nut 48. A stop 46a limits the opening of the valve.
The armature 4.5 rests on a disc 49 which fits onto the thinner end of the valve stem 46. The various parts are brought together by means of the wing nut 48, but the valve stem still has the option of free rotation on the armature.
When assembling such a group, the guide member 40 is brawn into the opening 401 at the bottom of the housing 22. The pole piece dowels go exactly fitting through holes in the lower jaw of the magnetic pole pieces 28. Then the valve stem 46 with the armature 45 attached is inserted into the guide member 40, the armature is pulled on and through the magnetic pole Magnets 31 and N ' on the upper surface of the pole piece dowels,
42. The valve stem 46 extends downward through the bushing 41 into a chamber 60 of the guide member 40, which is open to the housing through lateral channels 60a. The lower end of the shaft, which forms the actual valve, is flush with the ceiling of the chamber 733. A valve bushing 63 makes a flexible one, for example Valve seat made of leather 62 clamped to the ceiling.
In the middle of the valve seat there is an opening 65 whose cross-section is smaller than that of the actual valve, d. h. the lower end of the valve stem. As a result, the part of the face of the latter exposed to air pressure is reduced.
This enables the magnet M respectively. N 'to hold the armature 45 on the pole pieces and the valve end on the flexible valve seats 62. I.: The latter #v is, because it is flexible, pressed against the valve end by the air pressure, whereby a tight seal is maintained every time the valve is seated.
The channels 60a open towards the interior of the housing 22, & r is in communication with the atmosphere through channels 735 , so that when the valve is open, the channels in the chamber 733 B> Druekluft located on the underside of the valve can escape into the atmosphere.
The two profitable shafts 46 thus normally close off part of an air line system present in the housing, namely the part which is formed by the chambers 733 and channels > 732, 80, 73, 79. With this line system through] channels 725, those at 737 in, the channels 80 </ B > Open out, furthermore guide channels 736 (Fig. 7-9) connected, which are located in the rails P.
If, in other words, one of the latter should break, for example by hitting an obstacle, the pipe system would be connected to the atmosphere, just as if a valve had been opened.
On the underside of the double valve apparatus there is a milfelst bolt b ' and a cast brass bowl 70 interposed with a cover plate g , the air passages described below contain. It has a central cylinder 7'-) which forms the above-mentioned chamber 73, which contains a filter body 74 which is soldered to a screw plug 75 at the bottom.
The latter has a channel 76 for discharging any impurities and water that may collect in the filter body 74. The channel 76 is composed of a part guided axially into the screw plug and a radial part guided in the latter. The filter is inserted through the opening into the bowl, which is then filled with the screw plug 75 .
When the plug is completely dusted in and its flange rests tightly against the bottom of the shell 70 , it forms an airtight seal. In order to be able to draw off water and impurities that have accumulated in the filter, the plug must be turned back a few turns in order to expose the radial part of the channel 76 to the outside.
- A nipple 77 is screwed into the upper end 78 4 of the cylindrical neck part and its lower conical end fits tightly into the filter 74. This nipple contains the axially aligned air channel 79 , through which compressed air flows from the main container through the pipe 730 to the valves T7 by reaching the inside of the filter, penetrates this and then enters the channels 80 ,
on the one hand to the upper end of the filter chamber, on the other hand through the. Channels 732 are connected to the bottom of the valves. The nipple 77 goes at the top through an opening of the cover 20 of the valve housing 22 and is flush with its outer surface.
The inside of the housing for the magnet-pneumatic valve unit forms a chamber # which is open to the atmosphere through the channels 735 (Fig. 8) , so (let, if the Valve stem 46 is lifted, compressed air, which penetrates through the opening 65 of the flexible valve seat 62 , escapes into the atmosphere through the channels 735 .
-The channel-al-79 is connected to the air pressure brake and cable stop valves through the pipe 730 (Fig. 3) . If one of the valves in the housing is opened or one of the rails P breaks, the channel 79, is connected to the atmosphere through this open valve, so that a channel 79 </ B> detached., 8 pressure medium, split.
The operation of the system described is as follows.
If the section in front of a train is free, the electromagnet 14 is energized when the train enters this section, in which the electrical circuits are closed in a known manner through the wheels and axles of the train. As a result, the field of the permanent magnet 13 is broken up and thus unable to influence the magnets 13.1, M 'of the pulling mechanism when the rails P are at the poles of the Na, (, r- netes 13 go by.
If the track section in question is already occupied by a train, the track electromagnet is not excited, but the track permanent magnet is effective when the magnetically conductive rails pass through its field on entering the train.
Since the Geleiseniagnet is stronger than the magnets M, III 'connected to the magnetically conductive rails, it causes the polarity of one of the armatures of the double valve apparatus to be reversed and thus allows this armature to be lifted off the poles and, clamit that Open the clcs valve. As mentioned, the ses usually holds the opening 65 closed and the armature is attracted by the pole pieces of the hoof iron magnets lkl, M '.
The valve is opened by the air pressure of the air pressure brake, which is constantly maintained in the space 733 below the valve via the channel 79, the filter 74 and the channels < B> 73, 80 and 732. The attraction exerted by the magnets 31, M ' on the armature is stronger than the normal air pressure in the room 733, which acts on the face of the valve. But if the rails P enter the free field of the track magnet and thereby. If you honor the polarity of the anchor ', the latter will be repelled.
Then the air pressure acting on the lower surface of the valve opens the latter, so that compressed air can escape through channel 79 into the atmosphere and thereby actuate the pneumatic hold-open device, which you can see the automatic application of the brakes results.
Only one of the solenoid-pneumatic control valves is activated at a time each . For the magnets of the two valves, as already described, have opposite polarity, with the S pole of one and the N pole of the other falling into a line parallel to the center line of the track. In contrast, the same poles of the line magnets lie on a single line.
One of the LG locomotive magnets therefore always has a polarity that is opposite to that of the line magnet, regardless of the direction in which the locomotive is traveling and regardless of the position of the line magnet. So the magnet of the double valve on the locomotive, which has the opposite polarity to that of the line magnet, is always the effective one. Lokomoti - #, mao., Net.
Furthermore, if a magnetically conductive rail breaks, air will break apart into the atmosphere through channel 736 and cause the brakes to be applied in a manner similar to that if the valve 46 on the armature had been opened.
In order to return the parts to the normal state, the channel 79 is connected to the atmosphere through the valve E . As a result, the pressure prevailing in space 733 is destroyed and the valve with its armature falls into its normal position due to its gravity.
