Appareil pour enlever et récupérer l'huile servant à mettre à l'abri de l'air le vin dans les bouteilles, dames-jeannes et récipients semblables. La présente invention a pour objet un ap pareil pour enlever et récupérer l'huile qui sert à mettre à l'abri de l'air le vin contenu dans des bouteilles, dames-jeannes et réci pients semblables.
Sur le dessin annexé est montrée, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'appareil suivant l'invention; la fig. 1 en est une coupe verticale et la fig. 2 en est une vue en élé vation.
Dans la construction représentée, l'appa reil comporte un petit corps de pompe 1, fixé sur une boîte 2 à laquelle aboutit un tube 3 destiné à être introduit dans le col d'une bouteille à vin par exemple. La boîte 2 est en communication, à travers une large ou verture 4, avec un récipient inférieur 5 com portant prés du fond un bec de décharge 6 pourvu d'un bouchon obturateur à vis.
Dans le corps de pompe 1 peut glisser un- piston 7 dont la garniture 8 est disposée de façon à assurer l'étanchéité lors de sa course d'aspiration, et ledit piston est soli daire d'une tige 9 se terminant par un bou ton de man#uvre 10. Dans le corps de pompe 1 est aussi logé un ressort à boudin 11 s'appuyant, d'une part, sur un collet ménagé au fonds du corps de pompe 1 et, d'autre part, contre le piston 7, ledit ressort tendant à amener le piston dans sa position soulevée représentée en fig. 1.
Sur la boîte 2 est montée une petite sou pape 12 destinée à s'ouvrir par l'effet d'une pression existant à l'intérieur de la boîte.
Pour employer l'appareil, on fait-descendre le piston 7 à l'encontre du ressort 11 et on introduit le tube 3 dans le récipient à vin d'où il faut enlever l'huile, jusqu'à ce que l'orifice inférieur du tube 3 atteigne le niveau inférieur de la couche d'huile reposant sur le vin. Le piston 7 est alors soulevé, en le lâchant, par l'effet du ressort bandé 11, ou bien si celui-ci faisant défaut ou était défec tueux, on pourrait retirer le piston 7 à la main au moyen du bouton 10.
Pendant la course ascendante du piston, celui-ci produit dans le tube 3 un effet d'as piration qui, le récipient 5 étant étanche, s'exerce à l'orifice inférieur du tube 3 pour provoquer l'aspiration de l'huile. L'huile ainsi soulevée se déverse dans le récipient 5 qui a une section bien plus grande que le tube 3, de sorte qu'elle ne peut pas retourner dans ledit tube 3, même si le pis ton 7 est de nouveau abaissé.
En tout cas, l'huile se rassemble dans le récipient 5 d'où elle peut être déchargée en ouvrant le bouchon 6; l'huile enlevée peut alors être réutilisée.
Le récipient 5 peut avoir toute forme voulue et il peut être constitué par un vase en verre muni de la boîte 2.

In the construction shown, the apparatus comprises a small pump body 1, fixed on a box 2 to which ends a tube 3 intended to be introduced into the neck of a wine bottle for example. The box 2 is in communication, through a wide or opening 4, with a lower container 5 com carrying near the bottom a discharge spout 6 provided with a screw plug.
In the pump body 1 can slide a piston 7, the gasket 8 of which is arranged so as to ensure the seal during its suction stroke, and said piston is secured to a rod 9 terminating in a button. operating 10. In the pump body 1 is also housed a coil spring 11 resting, on the one hand, on a collar formed at the bottom of the pump body 1 and, on the other hand, against the piston 7, said spring tending to bring the piston into its raised position shown in FIG. 1.
On the box 2 is mounted a small valve 12 intended to open by the effect of pressure existing inside the box.
To use the device, the piston 7 is lowered against the spring 11 and the tube 3 is introduced into the wine container from which the oil must be removed, until the lower opening of tube 3 reaches the lower level of the oil layer resting on the wine. The piston 7 is then lifted, by releasing it, by the effect of the loaded spring 11, or if the latter is lacking or was defective, the piston 7 could be removed by hand by means of the button 10.
During the upward stroke of the piston, the latter produces in the tube 3 a suction effect which, the container 5 being sealed, is exerted at the lower orifice of the tube 3 to cause the oil to be sucked up. The oil thus raised flows into the receptacle 5 which has a much larger section than the tube 3, so that it cannot return to said tube 3, even if the udder 7 is lowered again.
In any case, the oil collects in the container 5 from where it can be discharged by opening the stopper 6; the oil removed can then be reused.
The receptacle 5 can have any desired shape and it can consist of a glass vessel provided with the box 2.
