Suction nozzle for suction air conveying devices. The subject matter of the present invention is a suction nozzle for suction air conveying devices, such as those used for conveying grain, coal dust and similar masses. With the nozzles of this type known up to now, the following inconveniences occur in particular when operating with turbo blowers: If a nozzle sucking from the full conveyed material is outside the area of the conveyed material, the turbo blower suddenly promotes a much too large volume of air, resulting in a strong one The driving motor is overloaded.
If there are automatic safety devices against this, they play too often, so that the funding is stopped each time and some time is always necessary for restarting. If such automatic safety devices are missing, damage of a visually severe nature can easily occur. If two or more suction nozzles are connected to the same suction line, the problem arises as soon as one of the nozzles gets outside the material to be conveyed, that the delivery of the other nozzles is completely impaired as a result of the excessive drop in the vacuum prevailing in the suction line. if not completely shut down.
This inconvenience occurs in particular when there is no longer enough material to be conveyed in order to always be able to fully immerse the nozzle, in which case all suction nozzles that have been used up to now are used, despite the fact that some of them already have facilities to regulate the air volume were provided, failed.
In the suction nozzle according to the present invention in a plane ringförmi ger, at right angles to the axis of the conveyor pipe lying ring slot with adjustable height for the supply of all sides radially to the axis of the conveyor pipe directly on the nozzle suction opening in the conveyor pipe entering air. This is intended to achieve a stasis of the air entering through the nozzle opening when sucking empty.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, and it shows: FIG. 1 the same in side view, partly in section, with the ring slot open, FIG. same with closed ring slot; FIG. 3 shows a section along the line A-B of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 shows a section along the line C- D of FIG. 2, and FIG. 5 the cover in the open state. It is 1 the suction pipe, which has a flange 2 at its lower end which is perpendicular to the axis of the pipe 1.
The tube 1 is surrounded by an air supply jacket 3,. in which the air to be sucked through the opening 4 can enter. The jacket 3 leads with a pipe socket 5 on the suction pipe 1 and be seated an inclined slot 6 which engages around a pin 7 of the suction pipe 1. Die Rohransatz 5 ist mit dem Rohransatz 5 auf. The Man tel 3 is closed abge below by a disc 8, which is parallel to the flange 2 and the nozzle suction opening 9 has. It bil det so the flange 2 with the annular disk 8 has an annular slot 10 which is perpendicular to the axis of the conveyor pipe 1.
If the jacket is rotated in the direction of the arrow drawn in FIG. 1 until the pin 7 comes to a standstill at the point x: the groove 6, there is a relative axial adjustment of the suction tube 1 and the jacket 3 to one another and so an adjustment the height of the ling slot 10.
A diaphragm with two lamellae 11 and 12 is arranged on the annular disk 8. The lamella 12 is rotatable about a pin 1.2a of the disk 8 and loosely engages with a pin 13 in a slot 15 of the flange 2. The lamella 11 is rotatable about a pin] .1a of the Seheibe 8 and engages with a pin. 1.1 in a slot 16; of the flange 2 loosely.
If the casing 3 is now rotated further in the direction of the arrow drawn in FIG. 1, until the pin 7 reaches the position in which it is shown in FIG. 2 from point x, the diaphragm is moved from the open position to that brought to Fig. 4, so the nozzle suction opening 9 covered for the most part.
Tests have shown that when air is sucked through the nozzle opening 9, an injector effect is generated in the annular slot 10. As a result of the intersecting air flows, there is a considerable loss of pressure and thus a reduction in the air being conveyed. By keeping the slot opening within certain limits, the air that has entered through the slot 10 can be given the highest possible access speed. In this way, according to various practical tests, a throttling effect caused by the diaphragm in the amount of 10 to 20% of the total amount of air drawn in could be determined.
This is particularly important when operating the system with turbo blowers, in which the power consumption increases in direct proportion to the conveyed, very respectable values achieved as the air weights.
So in order to achieve the regulation of the favorable air volume for the promotion during work from the full, it is sufficient to turn the jacket 3, at which point x is not reached, whereby the diaphragm 11. 1? is not affected.
This is adjusted if the power requirement for the remaining work is to be reduced in accordance with the lower delivery rate. By directly reducing the material inlet cross-section, the size of the now lower delivery rate can be adjusted quickly, while at the same time the air required for delivery is reduced to the appropriate level, in which, as shown in Fig. shows,
the ring-shaped slot 10 for the passage of the regulating air is closed at the start of the diaphragm adjustment. The rotation of the casing can be done manually or automatically.
