Machine for cutting the cookie dough and distributing the parcels on the baking trays. The present invention relates to a machine for cutting cookie dough and distributing the pieces on the plates used for cooking.
In existing machines of this type comprising a driving and distributor apron, the dough does not always advance steadily, which means that the pieces are not cut properly. In addition, the cups fall very irregularly, resulting in poor distribution on the baking plates.
On the other hand, the intermittent advance movement of the plates is imperfect, so that the distribution in place of the cuts does not take place properly. The worker is then obliged to operate the positioning correction by hand.
It is to overcome all these drawbacks that we have imagined the machine that we are going to describe, which comprises two endless aprons, one for advancing the dough towards the dividing knife, the other for the distribution of the cut pieces on baking trays and a knife for cutting strands of dough said pieces. According to the invention, these two aprons are inclined, with respect to the running plane of the cooking plates, the knife also being tilted with respect to this plane so as to cut the strands of dough perpendicular to their stretching relative to their driving plane. is lying. The inclination of the aprons has the effect of facilitating the conduct of the dough and also of promoting the fall of the pieces.
However, these falling simultaneously for each cut, are distributed regularly. In addition, the machine may include means for producing the jerky advance of the perfectly adjustable plates according to the length of the cut pieces of dough, which ensures a distribution in lines very evenly on the plates, and these can be raised. the machine without the need to correct the distribution in any way.
The accompanying drawing shows schematically and by way of example one embodiment of the machine. Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof; fig. \? is a plan view, with several parts removed.
Referring to these drawings, it can be seen that the machine comprises a first endless apron 1 mounted on two rollers 2 and 2 ', 2 being the drive roller and a second table 3 extending from the first apron passing over a roller 4 which the drag and su., a special piece 5 adjustable and held in a suitable position. The rolls are lined with emery or other similar material capable of preventing slippage. A part 6 fills the gap left between the two aprons and forms a rigid plane for cutting the dough when lowering the knife 7 sliding in a slide fitted there for this purpose.
Depending on the width of the strands of dough to be cut, guides 8 etc. are available, in a number appropriate to the slider of the machine. Towards the end of the second deck, a series of small 9-hinged pallets are arranged in order to prevent the cut pieces from overturning.
The weight of these small parts is sufficient to ensure the perfect, smooth distribution. As can be seen, the two aprons are inclined and as we have already observed, this position facilitates the walking of the dough which only asks to follow the aprons unlike what happens when the aprons are horizontal. This inclination also facilitates the folding of the cut pieces which are, as soon as the knife has made the cut, in unstable equilibrium.
A chain movement 10 drives the plates 11 intermittently, that is to say that the plates jump by an adjustable amount depending on the section of the dough strands, in other words the height of the pieces cut from said cords. A lug 12 takes the pawl 13 to take on the ratchet wheel 14 before the first row of pieces has fallen on the plate. It is only from this moment that the rod of the eccentric 15 in relation to the oscillating lever 16 controlling the connecting rod 17 turns the ratchet wheel, the pawl of which has taken at the same time as the cleat 18 releases the lug. 12.
We understand that. By adjusting the lengths of the rods and connecting rods behind the scenes of the oscillating lever, it is possible to rigorously advance in time the plates whose backward jump corresponds to a length slightly greater than the height of the cut dough.
The operation of the machine is as follows:. The strands of dough are placed on the first apron 1 in the guides, and the welds are done end to end as indicated by the dotted line, on the rear extension plate 19 of this apron. The machine being started up, the rods 20 and 21 in relation with the oscillating lever 22, adjusted according to the advance of the dough, in other words according to the thickness to be given to the sections, print the movement, the dough advances from the desired amount towards the rigid plane 6 to be placed under the knife 7 located at the top of its travel. It is at this moment that it lowers, this movement being communicated by the variable-arm crank plate 23 and the connecting rod 24.
The cut is made over the entire row at the same time as a rod 25 presses on the dough to simply prevent it from rising with the knife when the latter rises, the arrangement of this support rod being such that 'it will only follow the upward movement of the knife when it is counting out of the dough. During this time, the cut pieces fall on the second apron 3 along a rectilinear line and are driven towards the plates passing under the articulated pallets at 9 which prevent their possible overturning.
They therefore descend regularly on the plates to be placed along the same straight line, it is then that the plate in action advances by a quantity corresponding to the height of the strands of dough treated, this advance being made by means of rods in relation to the oscillating lever 16 to release the lug 12 by lowering the tab 18, so that the latching acts by determining the useful jump to allow a second row to be placed after the first, and so on.
It will be understood that thus adjustable this machine will be able to cut and distribute on plates cuts of dimensions which can vary with the number of strands of dough and the height of the latter.
