Schlusszeichen, 4) Verstärkeramt anrufen (Mittelamt), 5) Direkte Durchschaltung, 6) Direkte Durchschaltung aufheben, 7) a/b-Vertauschung, 8) a/b -Vertauschung aufheben, 9) Verstärkung erniedrigen, 10) Verstärkung erhöhen, 11) Telegraphieren.
A öffnet seinen Kontakt 9.
Löschen des Zwischenverstärkers her.
Erde, Anschluss 1 von I, Arm I, Anschlüsse 2-4, Haltekontakt 19 von Rs, R3, Batterie.
Kippschalter a kurz umlegen auf Löschen.
Circuit arrangement for telephone systems with intermediate tubes arranged in a central office. Intermediate amplifier offices are used to take on the amplifier devices for long trunk lines and are usually set up in such places as possible in the middle between the two end offices of a long trunk line. For this reason, in practice it will be necessary to set up the kind of intermediate amplification offices in small towns.
On the one hand, one wants to avoid special operating personnel in such offices and on the other hand, with regard to the service life and power consumption of the amplifier lamps, they should not be left on for longer than is absolutely necessary. According to the invention, switching arrangements have been made in a central office that are described in Depending on the switching measures in the terminal offices are controlled at least for calling through, as well as ignition and extinguishing of the amplifier. In the drawings, several exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated, namely Figs. 1-3 show a circuit arrangement,
according to which in the telephone amplifier intermediate exchange for each voice line section selectors or stepping mechanisms or electromagnetic switching mechanisms of any construction are used, which are controlled by the calling end exchange by means of electors.
In Fig. 4-11 further embodiment forms of the invention are illustrated, which will be explained in more detail in the course of the description. Each voice line section ending in the central office 11 (located in the central office 11) is assigned two selectors 97i and W2 (FIG. 1) and W 'and W'2 (FIG. 2), respectively.
of which the first voter H'i resp. W'i through from the associated end offices A respectively. B transmitted current surges is set to the corresponding contact 1-11.
The individual Wählerkon contacts of the first voters Wi or W'i correspond to the following switching operations 0) rest, 1) switch on amplifier, 2) switch off amplifier, 3) call through or. End signal, 4) call repeater office (central office), 5) direct connection, 6) cancel direct connection, 7) a / b swap, 8) cancel a / b swap, 9) decrease gain, 10) increase gain, 11) Telegraph.
So that the switching measures that may become necessary during a long-distance call (switch on the amplifier, etc.) do not interfere with it, the current impulses required for this are sent over the voice line sections that are switched simultaneously for this purpose. With the start of the voters Wi respectively. -'i starts up a second voter W2 and 11's, which is driven by an interrupter Ü located in the central office M and switched on by the first voter. If this selector Ws (11T2) is on its 15th
Contact arrived, for which it takes longer than the selector Wi (W1) for the longest way, i.e. up to its 11th contact, the current path set by the selector Wi is switched through and the relays that correspond to the desired operation are activated. If a selector Wz now runs to the next 16th contact, the connection is canceled again; if it finally reaches its final position (17th contact), it triggers both voters. Of course, other delayed switching and tripping is also possible, for example by means of a relay chain.
Only in the case of operations 9-11, which take a longer time, the connection must remain in place until the end office (A and B) initiates the triggering itself. This then happens through a negative power surge from end office A or B. As long as Wi and y1'2 have left their rest position through manipulations from end office A, lY'i and 1Y'2 are blocked for end office B and vice versa in order to prevent the two end offices from working together.
The current flows are as follows: The officer in remote office A sets a certain operation in the amplifier office 1'1I by, for example, turning a dial from the corresponding digit or pressing the corresponding key on a numeric transmitter. As a result, the long-distance line at contact 1 is first disconnected from earth (via release button J1, T, telegraph key TT and telegraph relay TR) and connected to pulse contact 2, which transfer lasts until the dial or the numeric transmitter is back in the rest position has returned.
After moving 1, the dial sends the set number of positive current impulses to the amplifier aint lTI. They flow via earth, battery, impulse contact 2; folded contact 1, galvanometer G, transformer in A, long-distance line, transformer in 11, contact 3 of a relay T, winding of a relay JR, winding of a relay SR, contact 4 of a relay S, earth.
Only the polarized pulse relay JR, which responds to positive current surges, responds to each current surge and it excites the rotary magnet Di of the selector Wi via earth, battery, positive pole, contact 5 of JR, end contact 6 of 1V1, contact 7 of a relay Me, contact 8 of one Relay lVe, winding of the rotary magnet Di, negative pole, battery; Elector -ff, takes as many steps as positive electric pulses were sent from end office A.
If the selector TFi has left its rest position, it closes the breaker circuit for the rotary magnet D2 of the selector j1'2 via an initial contact 9: positive pole, breaker 1T, start contact 9, end contact 10 of 1Y2, contact 11 of a relay Fi, contact 12 of a relay. ± '2, rotary solenoid D2, negative pole.
If the selector 117.2 leaves its rest position (Fig. 1), the initial contact 13 closes a circuit via the blocking relay 8 of the selector 11''i accessible from the remote office B (Fig. 2): positive pole, contact 13, winding of the relay Si , Negative pole. The contact 19 of IS 'separates the earth from the two polarized relays JRi and SR connected in series at the end of the trunk line coming from the terminal office B.
If the officer from remote office B now wants to send positive remote current surges, they will not find any ground return line. The galvanometer Gi in end office B (la'ig. 3) does not deflect and shows the officer that the voters of the amplifier office from end office A are blocked. The current surges of the interrupter U occur approximately in the same cycle as the current surges from the remote office A. The voters W; and b12 move pretty much in the same direction. Voter Wi has safely finished his final position before voter 117 9 on his 15th
Contact arrives, so that when this contact is reached, the circuit set by selector Wi is switched through. The switch relay Du (Fig. 1) responds via: positive pole, contact arm of selector W2, selector contact 15, winding of switch relay Du, negative pole.
Relay Du picks up its armature and places the positive pole on the contact set by the selector Vi: positive pole, contact 15 of the polarized relay Ä9R, which only responds to negative current surges, contact 16 of the relay Du, contact arm of W ; and on to the relays that correspond to the desired operation. In the next moment, the selector y1 "2 moves on to its penultimate 16th contact. Through-switch relay Du drops out, the through-connection is completed. If selector W now reaches its end position (on the 17th
Contact), the end contact 10 thus folded over separates the circuit breaker for the rotary magnet D2 and end contact 17 switches on the tripping magnet 11l1 of the selector TV: positive pole, end contact 17, tripping magnet Mi, negative pole. Voter Wi runs back to his rest position. The one before the last 16.
Contact in selector y6 z is provided so that the triggering of selector 1171 via the end contact of selector y172 cannot take place too early if the switch relay Du has not yet dropped out. In this case, namely, the relays which are located behind the contact of the selector Vi, to which the contact arm first comes during its backward movement, may still respond and cause a wrong operation. One could possibly also be satisfied with a delayed release magnet Xi.
Once in the rest position, selector Wi closes the triggering circuit for selector W via the initial contact 18,>: positive pole, initial contact .18 of. 11i, initial contact 20 of W2, (selector W2 is still in the rest position), release magnet 111, Q, negative pole. Voter TV ?, runs back to its rest position.
At the beginning of the backward movement, he interrupts at his end contact 17 the circuit for the release magnet from gli of the selector yyi, arrived in the rest position; At the beginning contact 20 the circuit for its own release magnet 11I2. In addition, by opening the initial contact 13, the blocking of the voter -'i accessible from the end office B is now canceled. When the contact arm of selector 14T2 slides over the 15th
Contact, the switch relay Du is energized again; but since the contact arm of the voter Wi has already arrived in its rest position, this has no harmful consequences.
For operations 9-11, which take a long time, the cancellation of the connection and the triggering of the voters must not take place immediately, but must be made dependent on the final officer. This is achieved in such a way that in the position 9-11 of the contact arms of the selector Wi the switching magnet Du the relay Fi respectively. 1, '2 actuated, which separates the rotary magnet circuit for the voter W2, so that this voter remains on its 15th contact and maintains the through-connection of the voteruri.
The exact current flows for the relay Fi respectively. F2 are discussed in the paragraph of the description dealing with operations 9-11. When the officer in final office A has finished her operations, she presses the JIT release button and thereby sends a negative current surge into the line section to the central office (repeater office):
Earth, battery, contact 21 in front of IIT, contact 1 of the dial or. of the numeric encoder, galvanometer G, transformer in A, transmission line section, transformer in 111, contact 3 of T, winding of relay JR, winding of relay SR, contact 4 of S, earth.
Only the polarized relay SR, which speaks to negative current surges, responds and separates the circuit for the relays I "i and h'2 by opening the Kontaktid 15. The interrupter circuit for the rotary magnet D2 of the selector W2 is closed again by the selector lY2 continues (the switching is canceled by continuing to run the selector l19) and triggers TV, and h4'2 in the end position of both selectors.
The negative current surge from office A must last at least until the contact arm of the voter I1'2 has left the 15th contact and de-energizes the relay Du , and in this way the switching through and excitation of the relay. F, respectively. F2 is finally canceled. In the worst case, this can take up more than a full impulse from the interrupter U . The interrupter U runs approximately as fast as the number disc or the number giver in the end office A.
Endamt A is only allowed to give signs slowly so that they can get through the trunk line cleanly. It can be seen from this that the negative power surge from the end office must have a fairly long duration, independent of the press of a button by the officer, in order to ensure triggering. For this reason, a chain of two delay relays Vi and V2 is provided in Endamt A., which guarantee this required duration of the power surge.
When the release button JIT is pressed, the relay Vi responds: positive pole, contact 23 of the JIT button, winding from 1 <i, negative pole.
Relay 1'i switches on relay I'2 at contact 24: positive pole, contact 24 of Vi, winding of n, negative pole; and V2 closes its contact 22, which is parallel to the release button 1'11T. Vi drops out with a delay after the HT key is released, thereby causing F2 to drop out with a delay. Only now does the negative current feed into the long-distance line stop.
The following current flows occur during the individual switching operations: 1) Switch on the amplifier: The contact arm in front of selector IV was set to contact 1. As soon as the voter 11's turns 15
Contact reached, the switch-through relay Du responds and closes a circuit at its contact 16 for the switch-on relay E. Relay E (Fig. 2) speaks via: positive pole, contact 15 of the polarized relay SR, contact 16, contact arm from Wi, contact 1 from Tli, wielding from E, negative pole.
Relay E switches on the two lamps of the amplifier device for the relevant remote connection at contact 25 and lives in a holding circuit via contact 26, so that the lamps or even after disconnected connection. continue to burn after the voters have been triggered. 2) Switch off the atomizer lamps: Contact arm of TV i is on contact 2.
By energizing the through-switch relay Du , the switch-off relay A (Fig. 2) is made to respond: positive pole, contact 15 from SR, contact 16. Selector arm from Wi, selector contact 2, winding from A, 3 tine pole. Relay r1 opens its contact 27 and thereby separates the holding circuit for L 'and extinguishes the lamps. If they were not switched on beforehand, this manipulation naturally has no effect.
3) Call through, final character. Contact arm from Tli to selector contact 3. When switching relay PL, (Fig. 1) via: plus pole, contact 15, contact 16, selector arm and contact 3 from IVi, winding from Ri, negative pole. Relay Ri applies a ringing current source to the contacts 28 and 29 to the transfer (Ue 4 Fig. 2), which terminates the line section going to the office B.
The capacitors Cs and Ci before your Ruf current entry offer the low-period Rufstrom a much greater resistance than the transformer Uei, so that only part of the energy in the artificial line g 'and the equalizing transformer Uec is lost.
A third contact 30 of R1 (Fig. 1) closes the primary winding of the Vorüber carrier l'Ue2 (Fig. 2) short, so that the fraction of the ringing current, which through the aforementioned capacitors Cs, C4 and the equalizing transformer Ues in the past sluggish VUe2 can arrive; whose secondary winding does not break down (relatively high ringing voltage, high translation).
The Rufstrom. goes via transformer Ue4 (Fig. 2) and the long-distance line section to remote office B, the local transformer Ues (Fig. 3) and activates the call relay AR 'by means of winding I. This turns on a call lamp in a known manner. A further description of the final office B is not necessary, since such offices are well known.
The final signal is given in the same way as the call. However, it does not respond to call relay AR 'in office B, but rather the end signal relay in the oath pair, which lights up the rear light SL'. These circuits are also well known, so that a description is unnecessary.
4) Call Repeater Office : In order to notify the fault officers present in the central office in the event of malfunctions at the amplifier device, call devices are arranged in the central office which are operated by terminal offices A and B out can be influenced. From office A the Vergtärkeramt 1f1 should be called. Voter W; (Fig. 1) is as described on the 4th
Contact suspended. Relay R2 is made to respond in the following way: positive pole, contact 15, contact 16, selector arm and contact 4 of selector Wi, winding of R2, negative pole. Relay R2 closes contacts 31 and 32 and thus sends alternating current calls into the line to the monitoring station of the repeater office in the neighboring remote office or to the fault location and actuates the call relay R f, which corresponds to the connection to A. .
5) Direct transfer from one end office to the other end office: If you want to speak without amplification, for example if the amplifier device is disturbed, the contact arm of Wi is set to contact 5.
The switching energizes the relay Di (Fig, 2) via: positive pole, contact 15, con tact 16, selector arm and contact 5 of W1, winding of Di, negative pole. Di switches off the two long-distance line sections of the amplifiers at contacts 33/34 and 35/36 and switches them through directly to contacts 37/38 and 39/40 and places itself in a holding current circuit via contact 41: positive pole, contact 41 from Di, contact 42 from Zi, winding from Di, negative pole.
6) Cancel direct connection : If the remote connection is to be routed via the amplifier device again, Wi is set to the 6th contact (Fig. 1). As a result, relay Zi (Fig. 2) is brought to speak: positive pole, contact 15, contact 16, voter arm and contact 6 of Wi, winding Zi, negative pole. Relay Zi disconnects the holding circuit for Di, the latter puts back its contacts.
This operation is only effective if the line was previously connected directly. 7) a / b-yerush: When the whistling starts (echoing speech) one tries to improve the symmetry by swapping the a- and b-core in one branch before reducing the gain. For this purpose, Wi is set to contact 7.
Relay U (Fig. 2) addresses: positive pole, contact 15, contact 16, selector arm and contact 7 of Wi, winding of U, negative pole. U swapped at contacts 43/44 and 45/46 the a and b wires in the branch behind amplifier Vi and see via its own contact 47: positive pole, contact 47 of U, contact 48 of Z2 , Winding U, M-inus pole. 8) a / b swap cancel: Wi on contact 8, thereby Z2 excited via:
Positive pole, SR contact 15, contact 16, selector arm 1V1 and contact 8, winding of Z2, negative pole. Z2 separates the holding circuit for U; U is de-excited and connects the branch behind amplifier Vi to the amplifier normally again. Only effective if a / b swap has taken place beforehand.
9) Reduce the gain: If the a / b interchanging was not enough to get rid of the whistling, the gain of the amplifier device must be reduced by reducing the adjustable shunt resistances to the two pre-transformers VUei, VUe2. Your regulating contact arms sit on a common shaft with a worm wheel, the shaft of which is driven by a motor that can be switched on from a remote office.
The direction of rotation of the motor can also be reversed from the remote office - so that one time it reduces the secondary circuits, another time increases them.
First IYi is to be set to the 9th contact (Fig. 1). When switched through, the relay F, an- positive pole, contact 15, contact 16, selector arm and contact 9 from IYi, relay Fi, negative pole. Relay F, interrupts the torque circuit for W2 at contact 11, so that this selector is stopped on its 15th contact and the connection is maintained.
Parallel to Fi, @ 1Ve responds to: positive pole, contact 15, contact 16, selector arm and selector contact 9 of Vi, winding llre, negative pole. Relay yVe switches the reversing contacts 49/50, 51/52 of the motor so that it later revolves in the sense that reduces the shunt resistances and switches off the line coming from the positive pole from the rotary magnet D at contact 8 and places it via contact 53 to the plus pole to the motor, so that further positive current supply from the final office does not move the selector W1 further, but lets the motor run.
You are now giving positive continuous current from the end office A. to the long-distance line, for example by pressing the telegraph key TT for as long as you want to let the engine run (earth, battery, telegraph key TT, contact 56 of 1IT, number switch contact 1, Galvanoscope G, transformer Uei, long-distance line, transformer Ue2, contact 3, JR, SR, contact 4, earth). The positive pole energizes the motor for just as long.
Positive pole, JR contact 5, end contact 6 of Wi, contact 7 of He, contact 8 of jlre, contact 53 and 51, motor, contact 52, both motor end switch contacts 54 and 55, negative pole. If the regulating contacts of the shunt resistors have reached an end position, the lever arm attached to the worm gear shaft opens one of the end contacts and switches off the motor.
Further actuation of the telegraph key TT then has no effect. If the setting of the control bypasses is finished, the officer in 4 triggers the voters Ti and II'2 by pressing the release button HT, as already described.
10) Increase amplification: Before starting up the amplifier unit, the shunt resistances should be increased every morning so that the greatest possible amplification is achieved without the tendency to whistle. First put IV on the 10th contact. F2 addresses via: positive pole, SR contact 15, contact 16, voter arm and 10.
Contact of jYi, winding F2, negative pole and disconnects the interrupter circuit for D:. J? E is excited parallel to F2. 111e switches off the line coming from the positive pole from the rotary magnet Di and applies it to the motor via contact 57; this time its reversing contacts remain so that it revolves in the sense that increases the shunt resistances as soon as the officer in A subsequently has positive continuous current in the trunk line.
Current delivery and tripping takes place as described in the previous paragraph.
11) Telegraphers: To prepare for the following long-distance calls during an existing one, simultaneous graphics is provided between the officials at the end offices. For example, if the civil servant in A wants to initiate telegraphing, she sets the selector Wi to the end position 11. An end contact 57 energizes the relay F2 via: positive pole, contact 15, contact 58, end contact 57 from Ui, contact 10 from Uli, <during the through-connection, which occurs by the selector W2 when it approaches its 15th contact / B> winding F2, negative pole.
F2 responds and causes the selector T1'2 to stop at its 15th contact and to maintain the connection. The relay 111e connected in parallel also responds ineffectively via contact 10, Xe, negative pole. If you want to avoid this, a special, third F-relay must be provided for operation 11.
At the same time, the end changeover contact 6-59 from Wi at contact 6 disconnects the positive pole lead from contact 5 from the rotary magnet Di of the selector Wi and at contact 59 to the point of symmetry of the transformer Ue4 (Fig. 2) (via contact 61 from Ti ), which closes the line section leading to B:
Further positive current impulses sent by A (telegraph characters by pressing the telegraph key) do not influence the rotary magnet Di of 1F1 (Fig. 1), but send corresponding positive current impulses to B (Fig. 1-3) via:
Earth, battery, contact 5, end contact 59, contact 61 from Ti, transformer Ue4, long-distance line, transformer Ues in the office B, Galvanometer G ', contact 1' of the number disc, contact 62 from MT ', TI ', telegraph relay TR', earth. The officer in B receives telegraph signals. Since the polarized relays JR 'and' SR 'assigned to the end office B are separated from earth by the relay S "in the central office, no power loss flows through them.
If the officer in the end office B presses the telegraph key TT, end office A receives corresponding telegraph characters. The telegraph relay T in the middle office responds in a cycle (via earth, battery, telegraph key TI ", contact 62, contact 1 'of the dial, galvanometer G', transfer Ues in the end office B, trunk line, via - trager Uei in 31, contact 61, end contact 59 of Wi, contact 63,
-'Windlung T, Erdd) and sends positive current impulses to A (Fig. 1): Earth, battery, T-contact 64, transfer Ue2 in 1l1, capillary, transformer Uei in A, galvanometer G, contact 1 of the number disc, Contact 56 from MT, Telegraph key TT, telegraph relay TR, earth. The connection can only be released from exchange A in the manner described.
For telegraphing and for changing the amplification, only positive current supply from the end offices may be used, since a negative one. Electricity surge would trigger voters.
The individual operations are carried out from Office B by means of the voters 1V'i and W'2 (Fig. 2). The relays for operations 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are simply parallel to both selectors Wi respectively in order to save relays. Wi. For operations 4 (call repeater office) you can see, as shown, two relays R2- respectively. R'2 so that the central office can immediately recognize from which side the call is coming.
In addition to the operations described above, any other desired switching measure can of course also be transferred. The number of operations to be transferred is not restricted in any way, so that a transfer is possible for any number of operations.
In Fig. 4 is a circuit arrangement. illustrates in which the amplifier device means by means of the speech line sent currents of various types, z. B. alternating current and direct current, or alternating current of different frequencies is switched on and off.
La is a trunk line led by the remote office A in the middle office M via a repeater device, which continues as L2 to the office B. In the line branch Li coming from office A, the relays'-Hl and I'i are connected in a bridge, while the relays R2 and V2 are connected in parallel to the line .. L2 continuing to office B .
Relays Bi and R2 are only responsive to alternating current (ringing current) and relays Vi and V2 only respond to direct current. For example, if Office A wishes to speak to Office B, the officer in A places a ringing current source on Li, thereby energizing relay Bi in central office M. Ri closes its contact 1 and causes relay Rfi to respond.
Relay Rfi uses contacts 2 and 3 to connect a ringing current source to the line L- leading to exchange B , so that exchange B receives a call signal. At the same time, Rfi closes its contact 4 and makes relay E respond. E lays itself in a holding circuit via its own contact 5 and turns on the amplifier lamps VIa and I'LZ with contacts 6 and 7. Exchange B has answered and the call can be conducted using the repeater.
After the end of the conversation, the officer in office A places a direct current source on the line Li for a moment, thereby energizing the relay T? 'L in the central office. Vi closes his contact 8 and brings relay A to respond. A opens its contact 9. Relay E is de-energized and opens its contacts 5, 6 and 7. The amplifier lamps are switched off. If there is no longer pause in conversation between the individual calls, the amplifier devices can remain switched on.
Frequent calling from one office to another does not affect the amplifier equipment. The amplifier device can also be switched off by an alternating current with a different period than when switched on. The relays Ti and V2 that respond to direct current are replaced in this case by relays that respond to the corresponding frequency.
If office B wants to speak to office A, the relays E and A are influenced by the relays Rz and T T2 assigned to the line L2 in the same way as described for the call from A to B. The speech flows are in a known manner amplified by the amplifier device. This arrangement can of course also be used without changing in private branch exchanges or other telephone systems.
In FIGS. 5, 6 and 7, circuit arrangements are illustrated in which the use of currents of various types is thereby eliminated; that the remote ignition of the amplifier lamp is carried out by the continuous ringing current, but the extinction by several ringing current impulses following one another at special time intervals.
The circuit illustrated in Fig. 5 works as follows. When the first call from east to west goes through, the AC relay Rfi in the intermediate exchange responds and actuates the local relay Ri. This applies the ringing current source of the intermediate exchange to the long-distance line W continuing to the west and short-circuits the eastern amplifier input and actuates the ignition relay Z, which closes the heating circuit of the amplifier V and binds itself via its own holding contact.
Further calls from east to west or vice versa no longer affect Z, as it is permanently connected to earth via its hold contact.
For deletion, a resonance relay RR set to the period of the pulse series is provided for each reinforced connection, the armature of which swings under the influence of the pulse series only gradually into the position in which the contact that controls the extinction of the lamp is closed. In order to avoid the closure of the contact due to interference currents, in particular the ringing current, with a resonance relay of this type, one can be provided by the D. R. P.
No. 306372 can be used for wireless telegraphy device that has become known, which in principle consists in the fact that the pulse series actuate an aperiodic moving coil relay that is connected as an energy limiter and the resonance relay is conveniently located in its local circuit with a resistor connected upstream. In this arrangement, the resonance relay receives pulses of the same strength regardless of the strength of the incoming pulses and can therefore be set so that it only brings its anchor into the contact position after receiving a predetermined number of incoming pulses in a certain sequence.
For the period of the natural oscillation of the resonance relay, a duration of one second is possible, for example. Current impulses of normal alternating ringing currents are sent from the end office in the time interval of the natural oscillation of RR , by means of a suitable interrupting device, which is held between the operator cord and remote latch FKa (Fig. 7). In the same cycle, R f i and R2 work in the intermediate exchange, and RR receives current via contact 3 of Ra (FIG. 5).
After a number of these rhythmic currents, the anchor by RR has swung up so far that it closes its contact, while this will never succeed for one-off or irregular currents as a result of the paging process.
If RR has closed its contact for the first time, the extinguishing relay L responds and separates the holding circuit for the ignition relay Z, the amplifier V is extinguished. L works with enough dropout delay to keep opening its normally closed contact while continuing to work in front of the RR and a little beyond that, so that the further rhythmic response of R2 until the ringtone from the end office stops unintentionally re-igniting the amplifier.
Since the resonance relay is a relatively expensive device, it is of interest to use as little as possible of such relays. Fig. 6 shows a circuit which it makes possible for the entire intermediate office, respectively. a group of reinforced connections to provide a common resonance relay, whereby the time breaker in the end office can be provided once and portable.
Call-through and ignition take place exactly as in the circuit according to FIG. 5. If, for example, the amplifier V: is to be deleted from the trunk line 01, then the relays Rfii and R2, as above, rhythmically actuated from the end office, and a contact from R2, sends current impulses through the common resonance relay RR at the same time, the armature of which finally swings out so far that it closes its contact.
Another contact from R2I has already energized the auxiliary relay Hl, which is built with sufficient drop-out delay to keep its normally open contact permanently closed during the rhythmic ringing current surges from 01 ; thus only the extinguishing relay In belonging to the Ver stronger Vi is excited by the contact closure of RR, which disconnects the holding circuit of the ignition relay Zi and extinguishes the amplifier Vi.
Li also works with a sufficient decay delay as in the circuit according to FIG. 5, so that the amplifier Vi cannot be unintentionally re-ignited by the further rhythmic response of R2.
A disadvantage of this circuit is that a simultaneous call through within the same group of lines causes an additional pulse from the resonance relay, which can cause it to become out of step and delay a contact closure or not at all within the series of rhythmic pulses sent by the final clerk let come.
A circuit arrangement for avoiding the call of the other end exchange when the intermediate exchange is called by means of an extended current supply is illustrated in FIG. In the circuit arrangement according to FIG. 8, the circuit arrangement (not shown) for effecting the ignition and extinguishing of the amplifier is to be considered; this arrangement is identical to that of FIG. 5.
The ringing current coming from the trunk line 0 actuates the AC relay R f i in the intermediate office and this the local relay Z1; Via its contact 1, the delay relay Vi is energized, which transfers its contacts in the order indicated by the numbers 1, 2, 3. Contact 1 holds the relay independently of Z1 to contact 3 after a specific time, for example four seconds, interrupting the holding circuit. Contact 2 also responds a set time before contact 3, for example if the delay for contact 3 is four seconds, it can be three seconds for contact 2.
If the ringing current transmission from 0 has stopped before Vi contact 2 has responded, Zi is de-excited and Z1 contact 2 assumes the position shown in the drawing. By closing contact 2 of delay relay Vi, further call relay R2 receives power and switches the call power source of the intermediate exchange to the long-distance line W.
This further call lasts until contact 3 of Vi interrupts its holding circuit, so that VT contact 2 opens again. In the present example, the call to W always takes one second, regardless of the remote officer in the eastern end office.
If, on the other hand, the intermediate office is to be called, the final office officer has to call for longer than four seconds, so Zi is excited and, as a result, his changeover contact 2 is switched when contact 2 of Vi closes after three seconds. The circuit of the further call relay R2 is therefore not closed and 'it does not respond, so that there is no further call to the end office. On the other hand, the inter-exchange call relay Ai is activated and the call lamp Lt lights up.
Ai maintains his own contact until the officer of the intermediate office disconnects the holding circuit, for example by pressing the Ti button. Four seconds after the start of the process, contact 3 disconnects from V; whose holding circuit opens, so that it drops out when Rfi and Z1 are de-excited when the ringing current is stopped from 0 . The contacts of Z must be set so that 1 drops back a little earlier than 2.
Vi must have dropped out and its contact 2 opened before contact 2 of Z returns to the rest position, because otherwise the call relay R2 would receive an unintended impulse.
In Fig. 9, a Schaltungsanord voltage is illustrated, in which the remote control of the amplifier interim exchange takes place by means of different lengths Rufstromgabe from the end office. When a call is triggered, for example by pressing a button or the like, a stepping mechanism arranged in the manner of a preselector in the intermediate repeater office is set in motion, which controls the switching processes in conjunction with the ringing current.
The switching processes are triggered to fulfill the following tasks 1) Calling through to the other end office and simultaneous ignition with control characters for the calling end official after the ignition relay in the intermediate amplifier office has responded, 2) calling through when the amplifier is ignited without a control sign for the end official, 3) deleting the Repeater and delivery of a control sign after deletion to the end office in the repeater office, 4) Intermediate office call when the amplifier is ignited, i.e. during traffic time, 5)
Intermediate exchange call with the amplifier deleted, i.e. during the traffic break. As already mentioned, the solution to the task is mainly based on the use of a step-by-step switch in the intermediate repeater office, designed like a preselector for automatic offices, which is switched on by the incoming call alternating current and, depending on the end of the line, a short or long call acts, initiates the necessary switching operations when it is incremented.
The stepping mechanism used in the circuit arrangement according to FIG. 9 is illustrated in more detail in FIGS. 11, m, 11, d.
The indexing mechanism has four stars I, II, III and IV, Fig. 11 "which sit isolated from each other on a common rotary shaft iv, of which the stars I, II and III are via sliding contacts f to earth, while the star IV is via a Rotary magnet D111 is connected to the battery, as shown in Fig. 9. Each star has three arms (Fig. 11a).
11a shows the stepping mechanism in the rest position and 11 in any working position. The three arms of the star are offset from one another by an angle a (1200). 1-12 are solder contacts applied to an insulating segment. Fig. 11, shows, for example, one arm of a star in position 9 or on the 9th working contact. f is a sliding contact.
As there is a segment 1c with the individual contacts 1-12 for each star I-1V, so is a sliding contact f. qis a toothed wheel seated on the shaft ic, which is advanced by one tooth by the pawl i when a ringing current is received. From position 2 onwards, a slow interrupter LU ensures that the switchgear continues to rotate up to position 12 step by step, but without interruption.
The various work processes are carried out as follows 1) Calling and igniting time control characters for the calling end warning beaint after success Response of the ignition relay ZR in the interim insurance office. Call in direction FL2 to ELi. If a short alternating ringing current flows in from direction FL2, this energizes the call relay R f 2, this the local relay R2,
Via whose normally open contact 8 the rotary magnet DM of the preselector is excited via connection 12 of IV, two arms IV, connection 1, D111, battery. The voter's arms fully pull their first step from position 1 to position 2.
Arm IV is now on the continuous segment of IV, connection 2-11, which results in a further rotation of the selector arms, caused by the battery in the circuit, D111; Segment 1 of IV, arm IV, continuous segment 2-1l, connection 2, via normally open contact 41 of LW earth, are the low-speed interrupter LU. In position 12, this circuit is interrupted, that is, the voter is then in the rest position.
If, due to the impatience of the final clerk, as soon as the voter's arms are in position 11, a new call occurs, then the rotary magnet DXI in position 12 finds a continuous circuit which DM, corresponds to the length of the call speaking, keeps excited so that he does not respond to the impulses of LU. The circuit is: earth, normally open contact 8 of R2, connection 12 of IV, arm IV, connection 1, DM , battery. After R2 ceases to excite, DM is released.
As a result of the brief excitation of R2, R5 was also excited and kept excited up to position 9. This relay R6 provides a current path for the coming back of the call back after ignition respectively. Delete the repeater. The excitation of R2 created the following circuit for R5: earth, normally open contact 7 of R2, normally closed contact 27 of ZR, Ra, battery.
After the first step of the selector, a parallel path to the one described above is created, namely: earth, connection 1 of 111, arm III, connection 2, holding contact 22 of R5, Rä, battery, and there the Segments 2-9 of III are interconnected, R5 remains energized up to position 9.
In position 2 via 11 , _AR is excited, but falls off again in position 3. A current runs through earth, connection 1 of II, arm II, connection 4, normally closed contact 36 of AR, changeover contact 20 of Rs, TRi, battery to excite 1T7Ri. WR, puts its changeover contacts 3 and 4 to the alternating current source of the intermediate exchange, which has rolled a call in the direction of FLi.
In position 5 the intermediate amplifier is triggered, namely: earth; Connection 1 of I, arm I, connection 5., normally closed contact 9 from R2, normally closed contact 16 from Ri, ZR, battery. The ignition relay ZR is energized, closes the heating circuit H-R, contact 30 and creates a parallel path as follows:
Earth, normally closed contact 34 from LR, holding contact 29 from ZR, ZR, battery. WR2 is excited via earth, connection 1 of I, arm I, connection 6, closed normally open contact 28 from ZR, closed normally open contact 23 from Ra, normally closed contact 11 from R2, TyR2, battery and puts its changeover contacts 1 and 2 to the ringing current source of the intermediate exchange and sends a callback in the direction of FL2 to the end office from which the ignition of the amplifier took place.
Here a call lamp lights up as a sign for the officer that the ignition relay in the intermediate amplifier has responded and thus the heating circuit has also been closed. The arms of the voter now run through to the rest position 12 without performing any further operations.
1a) Call through arid ignition from direction FL, -to FL2.
If a short alternating ringing current comes from the direction FLi, this energizes the ringing current relay Rfi, this the local relay Ri, via the normally open contact 17 of which the rotary magnet DM is excited. The arms also step from 1 to 2, as shown under 1). The excitation of Bi excited Rs.
The excitation of Ra causes his changeover contact 20 to be moved in order to switch to position 4 via earth, connection 1 of II, arm II, connection 4, normally closed contact 36 of AR, switched changeover contact 20 of R3, Energize FR2, battery, TT7R2. As a result, T'YR2 places its changeover contacts 1 and 2 on the call current source and sends a call (further call) in the direction of F12. Rs was kept excited from position 2-4 by the following current path:
Earth, connection 1 of I, arm I, connections 2-4, holding contact 19 of Rs, R3, battery. The closing of the contact 19 of Rs took place through the excitation via Ri. As a result of the excitation before. R3 was also energized, and R4. although via earth, normally open contact 21 of R3, rest contact 26 of ZR, R4, battery.
A parallel path is created for R4 by turning the selector via: earth, connection 1 of III, arm III, connections 2-9, holding contact 25 of R. ,, R3, battery, so R4 is kept energized up to position 9.
In position 5, as already mentioned above, the intermediate amplifier is fired. Via earth, connection 1 of I, arm I, connection 6, working contact 28 of ZR, working contact 24 of R4, break contact 14 of Ri, TYRi, battery, a circuit is established to excite TYRi. TYRi places its changeover contacts 3 and 4 on the ringing alternating current source and sends a call in the direction of FL as a control for the response of ZR and the associated closing of the heating circuit HH via contact 30.
Otherwise, the voter runs through to position 12 without initiating any further action.
2) Calling through with the Zicische amplifier ignited without a checkmark.
If one of the two end exchanges initiates a call through with the intermediate repeater, all operations are repeated as described under 1) or. 1 ') said, except for the function of R5 respectively. R4, because these relays are no longer excited, and consequently do not respond. Were z.
B. the relay Rf2 respectively. Rfi and the dependent relays R2 respectively. If you set it up, a circuit was created, as mentioned under 1), via contacts 7 and 27, R5, battery. This excited R5 and kept R5 excited up to position 9 above arm III.
As a result of the now existing excitation of ZR is the idle contact 27 and, for a call from the other direction, the idle contact 26 of ZR open, that is, the relay R5 respectively. R4 cannot be energized in response to a short call, and therefore cannot be kept energized, so that the control symbol does not occurs during ignition, which is otherwise caused by the closed contacts 23 or. 24 was effected.
3) Deleting the Ztcischenversteirker: s arid Submit a . Control character after because deleting Ftiddnit as a result response of extinguishing relay LR in intermittent amplified. The incoming call in the intermediate office and thus the excitement of R f 2 respectively. R f r and the dependent excitation of relay R2 respectively. Bi has to be here for so long
take until the voter is in position 7 or 8. In position 2, AR was excited and kept excited until position 7 (this is how long the call from the end office should last). The circuit for this is: earth, connection 1 of II, arm II, connection 2, AR, AT, battery.
For this purpose, a parallel path is created via: earth, working contact 8 of R2, respectively. Contact 17 from Ri, working contact 39 and 40, AR, AT, battery; AR is kept excited until the excitation of R2 resp. Ri stops. As a result of the excitation of AR, the normally closed contact 36 is separated, so that calling through in the opposite direction is prevented.
In position f # the excitation of R2 or Ri no current through contact 9 of R2 or: contact 16 of Ri flow.
LR is excited via earth, connection 1 of II, arm II, connection 6, normally open contact 37 of AR, LR, battery and creates a holding circuit from position 7 onwards, which remains in place until position 9 : Earth, connection 1 of I, arm I, connection 7-9, holding contact 35 of LR, LR, battery. When LR is excited, R5 is also re-established. R4 from position 6 onwards and also held up to position 9.
The following circuit is formed via: earth, contact 7 of R2, contact 32 of LR, R5, battery, and parallel path: earth, connection 1 of HI, arm III, connection 6-9, holding contact 22 of Ra, Rs, battery. The symmetrical process for this leads via: earth, contact 21 of R3, contact 31 of LR, R4, battery, and parallel path: earth, connection 1 of III, arm III, connection 6-9, holding contact 25 of R4, R4, battery.
The two relays R5 respectively. R4 are now from depending on the direction from which the call of extinguishing comes in, kept excited from position 6; for the excitation of the ignition relay ZR exists until the excitation of R2 resp. Ri a parallel path, namely: earth, normally open contact 12 of R2, respectively. Working contact 10 'from Bi, holding contact 29 from ZR, ZR, battery.
Now hears the excitement of R2 respectively in position 7 or 8. Bi on, that is, if there is no more alternating ringing current coming in from one or the other end exchange in the intermediate exchange, the cancellation takes place. ZR is de-energized by canceling the parallel path. LR and R5 respectively. R6 remain energized up to position 9 to initiate the callback process.
In position 9 the following circuit is created: Earth, connection 1 of II, arm II, connection 9, normally open contact 33 of LR, from here either via 24, 14 to yy "Ri or 23, 11 to FR2, depending on whether R4 or R5 is excited. The callback comes about exactly as mentioned under 1) and la). 4) Civil Office call with ignited Ver - </ I > stronger during the traffic time. The incoming call must stop until position 10 or 11.
At first exactly the same thing happens as mentioned under 3), there is no further calling but also no deletion. In position 2, the excitation of AR has taken place via arm II, connection 2 and is maintained until the end, as is known from 3). If the call ends in position 10, there is a circuit to maintain the battery via earth, connection 1 of I, arm I, connection 10, closed normally open contact 40 of AR, AR, AT, battery Excitement from AR.
At the same time, there is a circuit for supplying the call lamp AL <via earth, connection 1 from II, arm II, connection 10, normally open contact 38 from AR, AL, AT, battery / I> of the intermediate exchange, this lights up and represents the desired intermediate exchange call. The reason why the repeater is not deleted has already been explained under 3).
Think of the parallel path: earth, work contact 12 of R2, respectively. Working contact 13 from Bi. Holding contact 29 from ZR, ZR, battery; after position 9, LR drops out again and establishes a path for ZR via the normally closed contact 34; so that ZR remains aroused. The surveillance officer disconnects the holding circuit from AR by pressing the AT button.
5) Ztcischeizarrttsaizrttf with deleted -Ver- stronger, that means during the amplifierpaztsen . If you wish to use the intermediate repeater in the traffic breaks, i.e. when the repeater is deleted; then he follows the call as described under 4) ge. The amplifier is not ignited here, which should be avoided. Ignition is bypassed as follows.
In response to a continuous call, as is necessary under 4), R f z, Bz and .Rä (considering the call coming from I'Lz) is excited and kept excited until the call stops . Due to the excitation of R --- the normally closed contact 9 is kept open and so no ignition can take place in position 5. Position 5 alone is decisive for ignition.
FIG. 10 illustrates an arrangement in the end office which allows the cancellation and the long call to be carried out automatically, so that the end office worker is relieved of the work of observing the call time.
This is achieved, for example, by a toggle switch for each end official and a common slow interrupter for all officers in the end office.
Calling the remote office and igniting the amplifier in the intermediate office takes place through the normal call from the final office officer.
However, the repeater is deleted and the interim office is called by operating the toggle switch mentioned, in which the officer flips the switch shortly to the desired side and then releases it, after which the switch returns to its rest position, while the apparatus initiates the desired operation.
The switching operations are as follows: 1) Ignite and call through as previously written.
2) Delete. Briefly flip toggle switch a to delete. Here, a current path to excite the holding relay HRi is created via: earth, contact 1 of the toggle switch a, HRi, battery.
The holding relay streaks its contacts of the ringing current source with the line and binds itself, as a result of the simultaneous rotation of the selector to position 2, via: earth, connection 1, arm I, segments 2-7, binding contact 5 from Hli, HRi, battery. During this process the selector was also operated, namely: earth, contact 2 of toggle switch a, DM, battery. The voter advances to position 2. The toggle switch has returned to its rest position.
The selector now rotates following the impulses from LU: Earth, contact 7 of -LU, connection 11 of the continuous segment 2-11, arm III, connection 1, D111, Battery. HRi remains bound from position \? - 7 via its holding contact 5; therefore keeps the connection of the Rufstromquelle with the Lei device closed until in position 7 now the deletion takes place. This process takes as much time as it takes the intermediate office voter to initiate the deletion.
3) Ztt @ isclteyaanttsarzrttf. If the toggle switch a is briefly toggled on a call, the same operations take place as described under 2), only that HRi is not excited here, but HRz, tind remains excited until the voter selects position 10 of the connected segments 2-10 has exceeded. In this case, the duration for the intermediate exchange call was limited, which then results in a call from the intermediate exchange.
This circuit can also be used if several intermediate offices are used by making appropriate changes to the circuit.
