Description

  Dispositif distributeur de feuilles de papier, pour duplicateur.    La présente     invention    se rapporte à un dis  positif distributeur de feuilles de papier, pour  duplicateur. Cet appareil est     caractérisé    en ce  qu'il présente un rouleau rotatif se     déplaçant     sur les feuilles en s'éloignant et en se rap  prochant alternativement du     dispositif    d'im  pression, ce rouleau étant empêché de tourner  sur lui-même, dans la     dernière        partie    de son  mouvement d'éloignement, pour lui permettre  de séparer, par entraînement, la feuille su  périeure des .autres et, dans son mouvement  de rapprochement, pour lui permettre d'en  traîner     la;

      feuille jusqu'au dit dispositif.

  Le duplicateur comporte un pignon 20 qui  est muni d'un galet 21 auquel est accrochée  l'extrémité d'une bielle 22. Celle-ci est établie  comme il est représenté à la     fig.    3; elle com  porte un évidement 23 clans lequel s'engage  le galet 21; -cet     évidement    est fermé, une fois  que le galet 1 est engagé, par un verrou 24  solidaire d'une tige 25 pouvant coulisser par       rapport    à. la bielle 22 et terminée par un bou  ton de     tirage    26;

  Paper sheet dispenser device, for duplicator. The present invention relates to a positive dispensing device for sheets of paper, for a duplicator. This apparatus is characterized in that it has a rotating roller moving on the sheets moving away and approaching alternately the printing device, this roller being prevented from rotating on itself, in the last part. of its movement away, to allow it to separate, by entrainment, the upper sheet from the others and, in its movement of approach, to allow it to drag it;

      sheet up to said device.

  The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

  Fig. 1 is a top plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, a longitudinal section; Figs. 3, 4 and 5 refer to details.

  The plate 1, on the sides of which are fixed two sides 2 and 2 ', is fixed to the duplicator. That it is to feed, in the following way: The sides 2 and 2' carry, to. at their front end, two notches 3 in which is embedded a rod 4 integral with the frame of the duplicator, which is shown in phantom in FIGS. 1 and 2. This recessing is securely held by a V-shaped strut 5 fixed to the base of said duplicating device by a knurled button 6.

  On the sides of the sides 2 and 2 ', and to allow the use of paper of different sizes, are arranged two paper guides 7 and T operated by means of mole tees 8 and 8' driving the two screws 9 and 9 ' . Transversely and at the rear of the plate is another paper guide 10 operated by a screw 11 sliding in a slide 12 formed in the plate 1.

  At the front, the sheets of paper 13 are stopped by a stopper 14 sliding in grooves 15 made at the front of the two shelves 2 and 2 '. At the top of this stopper are fitted two blades 16, which hold the sheets to be printed and allow the stopper 14 to remain constantly at their level. On this stopper are fixed two pins 1.7 on which rests a valet-guide 18 articulated on a small axis 19 pivoting on the ends of the sides 2 and 2 '.

   These pins allow the guide flap 18 to follow the downward movement of the stopper 14 and also to remain constantly in the desired position for guiding the sheets to be printed until they arrive at the printing cylinder.

  The duplicator comprises a pinion 20 which is provided with a roller 21 to which is hooked the end of a connecting rod 22. The latter is established as shown in FIG. 3; it com carries a recess 23 clans which engages the roller 21; -This recess is closed, once the roller 1 is engaged, by a lock 24 integral with a rod 25 which can slide relative to. the connecting rod 22 and terminated by a pulling button 26;

   this rod, and consequently the latch 24, are subjected to the action of a return spring 27 which tends to bring them back to the position of FIG. 3 for which the lock 24 closes the recess 23 and maintains the roller 21 in its housing. By pulling on the button 26, the lock can be brought back, which allows the connecting rod to be released from the roller 21.

  The connecting rod 22 transmits the necessary reciprocating movement to two articulated arms 28 and 28 'mounted on a shaft 29 pivoting in two bearings 30 fixed below the plate 1.

  At the upper part of each of these two arms 28 and 28 'there is provided a recess of elongated shape 31.

  The side walls 2 and 2 'are each provided with a horizontal slide 32 and, in these slides, can slide a shaft 33 whose ends engage in the recesses 31 of the arms 28 and 28'.

  It can be seen that the two arms 28 and 28 ', driven by a reciprocating movement on their shaft 29 by the connecting rod 22, drive the shaft 33 and communicate to it a back and forth movement along the slides 32. In this movement, the distance between the shaft 33 and the pivot axis 29 of the arms 28 and 28 'will vary; movement is therefore only possible if the recesses 31 are given an elongated shape so as to leave the necessary play to allow this variation in distance.

  The shaft 33 is provided with two articulated arms 34 and 34 'which carry a roll of rubber, uc 35, which is provided with two ratchets 36 and 36' having their teeth opposite, and with each of which is engaged a pawl ; 37 and 3T denote these pawls mounted respec tively on the arms 34 and 34 ', and subjected to the action of springs 38 and 38' which hold them in engagement with the teeth of the corresponding ratchet.

  When these pawls are thus engaged with each other with the corresponding ratchet, because these two ratchets have their den tures opposite, the rubber roller 35 is thus immobilized and cannot rotate on its axis nor in a either way.

  Against the arms 34 is disposed a flange 39 which can slide relative to this arm 34. For this purpose, the flange 39 (fig. 1 and 2) carries an elongated slide 40 for the passage of the shaft 33 and another elongated slide 41, in which passes a lug 42 carried by the arm 39. A return spring 43 acts on this flange and tends to keep it pushed to the left in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

  In this position, the end of said flange acts on the tail of the pawl 37 and maintains this pawl <I> clear </I> from the teeth of the rocker 36.

  Finally, this flange 39 carries a finger for mant stopper 44 which can come to meet a transverse rod 45 bringing together the two sides 2 and 2 '.

  Therefore, if it is assumed that, the apparatus being in operation, the assembly of the arms 34 and 34 ', of the roller 35 and of the flange 39 moves from right to left, the pawl 37 being kept free from the teeth. of the ratchet 36 under the action of the flange 39, the roller 35 can rotate on its axis and roll on the. upper face of the. .pile of sheets 13 (the ratchet 36 ', the teeth of which always in engagement with the pawl <B> 37' </B> is in the opposite direction to that of the ratchet 36, does not in fact prevent this movement).

  But, after a certain stroke, the dozer 44 of the flange 39 abuts against the rod 45 which immobilizes this flange while the shaft 33, the arms 34 and 34 'and the roller 35 continue to advance in the same direction. , which is made possible by the elongated slides 40 and 41 of the flange 39.

  The pawl 37 which is no longer subject. the action of the flange comes, under the action of its output 38, into engagement with the ratchet 36 and thus blocks the roller 35, which, not being able to roll, carries with it the upper sheet of the stack, which is held by a rule 46 sliding in the paper guide 10, which causes a curvature having the effect of releasing said sheet from the two blades 16 of the stopper 14.

  At this moment, the shaft 33 and consequently the roller 35 resume their travel in the opposite direction, said roller being blocked by the pawl 37 ', acting on the ratchet 36'; the first centimeters of this stroke from left to right allow the return to the primary position of the flange 39 under the action of the return spring 43.

  The roller 35 thus blocked in the course which it performs from left to right drags with it the sheet to be printed which, not being then above the blades 16 and the guide flap 18, is brought to the duplicator.

  For the. taken from a new sheet, the roller 35 returning from right to left rolls freely until the moment when the flange 39 and its members act again, as described above.

  For the automatic distribution of double sheets, that is to say sheets folded in half, a curved removable shelf 47 (fig. 4 and 5) is placed transversely on the plate 1 on which it is held by two pegs 48. The object of this tablet is to initiate the curvature of the sheets, curvature completed by the action of the slide against weight 46, descending into grooves 49 made in the paper guide 10 and in which it is held by two buttons 50.

  A sheet counter 51 (Fig. 1) is mounted on the side of the plate and actuated by the articulated arm 28 'using a connecting rod 52.

  It is understood that the embodiment which has just been described is given only by way of example and that any constructive modifications can be made to it without departing from the scope of the invention.
