Description

New type of spindle bearing for artificial silk spools. Until now, it has been customary to keep the spindles long and thin for twisting the artificial silk so that they can adjust to the center of gravity accordingly when the bobbins are running at high speeds. It is known that such spindles are difficult to manufacture and also have the disadvantage that they often break due to insufficient elasticity when working with heavy bobbins.

According to the present invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that the spindle is resiliently superimposed at the point where the center of gravity of the coil comes to lie, so that it can be adjusted according to the center of gravity axis by giving way to this bearing point at a high number of tourists. This new type of storage allows the use of relatively thick and un elastic spindles, which are naturally more resistant to the risk of breaking.

In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of this novel spindle z3 is shown in section. The spindle 1 is arranged vertically in a Kon sole 2 which is mounted on a housing 3 and protrudes with its lower part in the latter. The spindle rotates in the console 2 and is for this purpose in two ball bearings 4 respectively. 5 stored. The drum 6, onto which the bobbin 7 is attached, is attached to the spindle. It is driven by the shaft 8, the two helical gears 9, 10 and an elastic coupling 11.

The gear 9 is immersed in the oil bath of the housing 3, which means that the bearing surfaces of the spindle and the drive elements located in the housing are automatically lubricated while the machine is in motion by the lubricating oil through the gear 9 against the in the housing 3 built-in moving parts is thrown.

The upper ball bearing, 5, is located at the point where the center of gravity of the coil 7 comes to lie, and is cushioned radially by helical springs 12. A helical spring 14 acts against the conical bearing sleeve 13, which on the other hand supports the drum 6 against ge conditions. This arrangement gives the spindle the necessary lateral play so that it can adjust the bobbin without bending in accordance with the center of gravity axis at a high number of revolutions.
