Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 94229. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines für den Chromdruck auf Baumwolle besonders geeigneten Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man durch Kup peln von 1 Mol. diazotierter 1-Oxy-2-amino- 4-nitrobenzol-6-karbonsäure und 1 Mol. dia- zotierter 1-Aminobenzol-3-sulfosäure mit 1 Mol. Resorcylsäure einen Azofarbstoff er hält, welcher bei dem Chromdruck,
auf Baum wolle ein gelbes Braun von guten Echtheits eigenschaften erzeugt. Beispiel: Man kuppelt zunächst die Diazoverbin- dung aus 19,8 Teilen 1-Oxy-2-amino-4-nitro- benzol-6-karbonsäure mit 15,4 Teilen Re- sorcylsäure bei Gegenwart von 30 Teilen Soda. Ist die Kupplung vollendet, so setzt . man weitere 10 Teile Soda zu und lässt die auf übliche-Weise bereitete Diazoverbindung aus 17,3 Teilen 1-Aminobenzol-3-sulfosäure und 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit einfliessen.
Nach mehrstündigem Rühren ist die Kom bination vollendet und man scheidet alsdann den Farbstoff auf übliche Weise ab.
Der neue Farbstoff ist in Wasser mit gelbbrauner Farbe löslich, welche auf Zu- satz von Lauge rotbraun wird. In konzen trierter Schwefelsäure löst er sich mit braun roter Farbe. Mit Chromacetat auf Baum wolle gedruckt, erhält man ein gelbes Braun von guten Echtheitseigenschaften.

A yellow brown with good fastness properties is produced on cotton. Example: The diazo compound is first coupled from 19.8 parts of 1-oxy-2-amino-4-nitrobenzene-6-carboxylic acid with 15.4 parts of resorbic acid in the presence of 30 parts of soda. If the coupling is complete, then. a further 10 parts of soda are added and the diazo compound prepared in the usual manner from 17.3 parts of 1-aminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid and 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite is allowed to flow in.
After several hours of stirring, the combination is complete and the dye is then separated off in the usual way.
The new dye is soluble in water with a yellow-brown color, which turns red-brown with the addition of lye. In concentrated sulfuric acid it dissolves with a brown-red color. Printed on cotton with chromium acetate, the result is a yellow brown with good fastness properties.
