Pumpe.
Pump. The known rotary centrifugal or capsule pumps only have a low suction height and must be driven at high speed in order to achieve a somewhat sufficient output.
This makes them unsuitable for pumping thick liquids such as crude oil, pulp, etc., and valve pumps would therefore have to be used for pumping such viscous liquids, which are usually sticky, give rise to too much inconvenience and require frequent cleaning of the pump.
The pump, which forms the subject of the present invention, has a semi-spherical housing body which is closed by a cover.
The housing body contains a conical member which fits with its base in the spherical housing part and which carries a semi-circular piston disc which has a diameter which is the same as that of the housing body and which is moveable in a slot going through the axis of the cone. The cone is connected to a drive axis which lies in the axial direction of the cone.
According to the present invention, the singing and dispensing or the suction and pressure openings have approximately the shape of triangles and the lid is internally provided with a projection which serves to guide the piston disk and a good seal between suction and dispensing respectively . Pressure rooms guaranteed.
The suction and pressure openings can be made in the cover in such a way that two sides of these openings run in the direction of the radii of the cover and the third side coincides with the inner circumference of the pump housing body.
However, the aforementioned openings can also be located in the spherical pump, peri-housing body itself, in which they have approximately the shape of spherical triangles.
One side of these triangles then preferably coincides with the inner circumferential line of the pump housing, a second side is delimited by the cylindrical housing body part in which the axis lies and the third side is the intersection line full of the pump housing body and a hori zontal plane, which is something is above the center line of the axis.
Finally, the suction and pressure openings can both be made in the cover and in the housing body.
Two exemplary embodiments of the pump are shown in the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through a first embodiment; Fig. 2 is a partially illustrated front view of the same; Fig. 3 is a front view of the disc-shaped piston; Fig. 4 is a side view, partially in section, of said piston, Fig. 5 is a view of the pump housing body of the second Ausführungsbei game with two openings made therein.
The pump (Fig. 1-4) has a semi-spherical (-ehärisekörper 1, which is attached to a (round plate, \ 3.
The housing body is closed by a cover 3, which preferably forms an angle of 45 "with the drive shaft 4 of the pump.
The suction and delivery respectively. Suction and pressure openings 5 and 6 are provided in this imple mentation form in the lid and are approximately triangular in shape, preferably in such a way that two sides of each triangle extend in the direction of full radii of the lid and the third side coincides with the inner Gelräusek body - circumferential line.
A cone 7 is mounted in the housing body, which with its spherical base fits into the spherical part, all of its apex has an angle full 901) . This cone is firmly connected to the axis 4, through which it can rotate about its axis. The tip of the cone is accordingly the shape of a hemispherical projection 8, which is located in the center of the cover, hollowed out, whereby a good guidance of the piston disk 10 is achieved and a good conclusion between suction and delivery respectively. Pressure space is created.
This projection can be hemispherical or have the shape of another body of revolution. It is also necessary for the closure between suction and pressure chambers, in that it prevents too rapid a pressure equalization between these two chambers.
Tests have shown that pumps without a protrusion have a very low degree of efficiency, while the pumps provided with a protrusion have a high degree of efficiency and can suck at a great height.
The cone 7 has a slot 9 which runs through the tip of the cone. This slot serves to support the semicircular piston disk 10, which fits exactly into the space formed by the housing body and the cover. The straight side of the liolberr was cut out similar to the tip of the cone and is also so. beveled to form a full 90 ° angle to allow the reciprocating movement of the piston disc.
The piston disk 10 is composed of two files, which are connected to one another by means of a tongue and groove, where the tongues press the part that is close to the cover firmly against the same (FIG. 4).
According to a different and simple implementation, the Kolhenscbeibe could be made from a single piece.
The suction rrnd dispensing openings are spaced apart from one another which is equal to the strength respectively. Thickness of the piston plate 10.
When these openings are provided for covers, they are separated by a generating line of the cone 7, i.e. H. the cone separates these openings from one another.
There is therefore almost no harmful space on the suction side, and the liquid is completely pressed into the pressure line on all the discharge side.
When the axis and thus the cone 7 is rotated, the cone will take the piston disc 1O with it and it will oscillate, d. H. turn round and at the same time see move in the slot 9 On one side of the piston disk, an enlarging suction chamber will form and on the other side a decreasing delivery or pressure chamber. The direction of rotation of the axis determines which of the openings for suction and which for dispensing, respectively. the onward transport serves.
The advantages of the pumps described above compared to other pumps are as follows: The special shape of the openings greatly reduces the impact and reduces the harmful spaces to a minimum is up. In order to make the dismantling even easier, according to the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the openings can be made in the housing body, so that the cover is left completely free.
In the event that one of the lines, for example the delivery line, is short, it can still be attached to the cover, while the suction opening, which is more difficult to remove, is arranged in the housing body.
If desired, inan could, in addition to the cover, also attach a second dispensing opening in the housing body and thereby avoid the occurrence of shocks even more; because it creates a large delivery area.
Both the cover and the housing body can have both suction and discharge openings, in any combination, for example a number of suction or pressure openings in the cover and a number of suction or pressure openings in the housing body. The latter would have approximately the shape of spherical triangles.
