Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     indigoiden        Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     indi-          golden    Farbstoff erhalten kann,     wenn,        mau     das     1-Chlor-2,3-niaphththioindoxyl    mit oxy  dierend wirkenden Mitteln behandelt.  



  Der Farbstoff stellt ein     violettblaues    Pul  ver dar, das sich in     Schwefelsäuremonohydrat     mit grüner Farbe löst. Mit     Hydrosulfit    und  Natronlauge gibt er eine     olivebraune        Küpe,     aus welcher     Baumwolle    in blauen Farbtönen  von sehr guter Echtheit gefärbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  235 Teile     1-Chlor-2,3-naphththioindoxyl     werden in 6000 Teilen 5     %iger    Natronlauge  gelöst. Durch die Lösung wird unter Rüh  ren bei 70 bis<B>80'</B> ein Luftstrom geleitet, bis  die Oxydation     beendigt    ist. Der abgeschie  dene Farbstoff wird     filtriert,    mit Wasser ge  waschen und getrocknet.    Zu demselben Farbstoff gelangt     man    auch,  wenn man     statt        Sauerstoff    andere     oxydierend     wirkende Mittel, wie zum Beispiel     Ferricyan-          kalium,        verwendet.

  The dye is a violet-blue powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid monohydrate with a green color. With hydrosulfite and caustic soda, he gives an olive-brown vat from which cotton is dyed in blue shades of very good fastness.



  <I> Example: </I> 235 parts of 1-chloro-2,3-naphththioindoxyl are dissolved in 6000 parts of 5% sodium hydroxide solution. An air stream is passed through the solution with stirring at 70 to 80 'until the oxidation is complete. The deposited dye is filtered, washed with water and dried. The same dye can also be obtained if other oxidizing agents, such as ferricyanopotassium, are used instead of oxygen.
