Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes aus Nitrodibenzanthron. In dem Hauptpatent wurde gezeigt, dass Nitrodibenzanthronyl durch Kalischmelze in einen wertvollen Küpenfarbstoff übergeht.
Es wurde weiter gefunden, dass man einen ganz ähnlichen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man an Stelle des Nitrodibenzanthronyls Nitro.di- benzanthron :der Kalischmelze unterwirft. Man erhält eine blauschwarz gefärbte Paste, in trockenem Zustand ein schwarzes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst.
Beispiel: 15 Teile Mononitrodib.enzanthron (im Han del unter der Bezeichnung Indanthrenschwarz 2B bekannt) werden bei<B>160'</B> in ein Gemisch von<B>150</B> Teilen Ätzkali und 75 Teilen Alko hol eingetragen, .die Schmelze kurze Zeit bei <B>180'</B> verrührt und dann weiter auf 225 bis 230 erhitzt. Nach etwa einer halben .Stunde wird abgekühlt, in Wasser .gelöst, zur Oxy dation von Leukoverbindung Luft einge blasen, filtriert und gewaschen.
Man erhält eine blauschwarz gefärbte Paste, in trockenem Zustand ein schwarzes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst. Der Farbstoff färbt aus violetter alkalischer Hydrosulfitküpe Baumwolle in graublauen bis schwarzen Tönen von sehr guter Echtheit.
Process for the preparation of a vat dye from nitrodibenzanthrone. The main patent showed that nitrodibenzanthronyl is converted into a valuable vat dye by melting potash.
It has also been found that a very similar dye is obtained if, instead of nitrodibenzanthronyl, nitro.dibenzanthron: is subjected to potash melt. A blue-black colored paste is obtained, in the dry state a black powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color.
Example: 15 parts of Mononitrodib.enzanthron (known in the trade as Indanthrenschwarz 2B) are added to <B> 160 '</B> in a mixture of <B> 150 </B> parts of caustic potash and 75 parts of alcohol, .the melt stirred for a short time at <B> 180 '</B> and then further heated to 225 to 230. After about half an hour, the mixture is cooled, dissolved in water, blown in air to oxidize the leuco compound, filtered and washed.
A blue-black colored paste is obtained, in the dry state a black powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color. The dye dyes cotton from a violet alkaline hydrosulfite vat in gray-blue to black shades of very good fastness.
